Top fashion house Gucci has launched a designer spanker - and women are rushing out to get their hands on the kinky toy. The sex aid is a shiny strap made of crocodile skin.

A Gucci spokesman said yesterday: "There has been extraordinary interest in the spanker - all from women. Our phones have been flooded with calls since the product first appeared in a men's magazine but not one was from a man."
He added: "We'll be selling spankers in high grade leather in stores but exclusive crocodile skin ones will be available on special order. They'll be on sale later in the year and will be a huge hit at Christmas."

Gucci, who had an earlier success with £650 ($800) silver handcuffs, has not priced the spanker but both versions are expected to be sell for hundreds of pounds.
