How Old Should You Be To Have Sex?
 

I'm 19, I, just recently found a really great guy I like. He knows I'm a bi- sexual and that I'm a virgin. I've only started to go out with him for about a month and half, but I've known him since I was around 14, we've been best friends since then. He's not really trying to make me but he hints that he would like to get closer to me. I'm not sure if I'm ready, I mean.. yes. I've been with a women, but... thats not the same. I don't know what to do.

I would love to bring our relationship closer but, I'm not sures...

Go with YOUR feelings hun! Don't let anyone pressure you to do anything you don't feel is right at the moment! If he is a true friend he will wait and understand. Talk it over with him! Tell him how you feel! He can't read your mind and you can't read his. When the time is right you will know it and if he's the friend you think he is.....he'll still be around to take the plunge with you.

The rule of thumb I'd offer is that if you're not sure, you're not ready. It's different for everyone. For me it was 20, and when I was sure it was wonderful. Friends who weren't so sure don't say the same thing.
