My poorly horseman12
 

You will all probably have noticed the lack of posts from horseman12, as he has always been an ardent poster.

Well I feel I must tell you all that he is has been, and still is, very poorly.

When I met him, he told me about some blemishes he had on his arm and neck, one of which was sore and wouldn't heal, apparantly he has had them for a while, so I insisted that he went to see the doctor, who informed him that if left untreated would develop into cancer. So some tests were done and a date set for another appointment to have them removed.

shortly after this, he developed toothache, in his wisdom tooth, and just like a man, ignored it, hoping it would go away. Well it didn't, and he was in such pain that he eventually went to the emergency at the hospital. They just gave him pain killers and some antibiotics and sent him home.

After a couple of days it was worse, his face was swollen real bad, he was still in great pain, so he went to the dentist, this was the day he should have been at the doctors, but his tooth became the priority because of the pain.

The dentist pulled the tooth, which in hindsight, he shouldn't have, because the absess caused infection to spread all through his jaw, which he now cannot open, and he has been living on liquids for two week now. He has lost 33 pounds in the past two week. He is still in great pain, but I think, it is starting to improve a little, although he still cannot open his jaw.

Anyway, he went back to the doctors for the results of his tests, and the results proved positive, he has skin cancer, he is very cool about it, I am the one that is devastated, I know that skin cancer is curable, and I hope and pray that he will be fine.

So I am asking you all to include him in your prayers. I hope we will both be posting again before too long

I am very touched my all the support, silly me, it has set the tears flowing again.
