I had to look at the site to see what the hell "TT" races were. Now I know everything I ever wanted to and more about it. lol I know the course, the dates, the history, the past winners.... EVERYTHING :rolleyes:............ except what the "TT" stands for.

Ditto! It's something like Formula 1? My guy loves racing and a lot of my friends love the social aspect of it . . . I just scratch my head and go back to my book or the paper . . . or Pixies.

Whew!! Hence, "The T.T." !!! The rest of it is just too damn long!:)

The site doesn't convey the atmosphere of the Island at TT.. the rest of the year it's just a 11 mile by 33 mile, sleepy little Island... but at TT, the whole place comes alive..... population jumps from about 70000 to over quarter of a million.. makes the roads a bit busy :) LOL

At a guess, it's a bit like Daytona Bike Week, only with races and no sun! Glad you like it though.

Lilith, they SURE will!! ;) When I still lived there, (2000) over 40000 bikes made the trip...... lots of them were "two-up", and that's not counting a good few hundred that bring their bikes in a van/trailer!!

All-in-all....... a bad-ass bitch's heaven on earth!! (Apart from the lack of sun!!! :()
