Branson
 

Well it looks like I'll be going to Branson for the first time in my life... Live entertainment capital of the world, they say. I've worked at hotels and seen lots of older folks going down there for vacation, they tell me it's lovely and I really must visit.

I've seen all the tourist pamphlets around but I don't know just how much time I have. I'm going with a group of people but will be doing my damnest to sneak away from the group ;)

Just wanted to know of any "Can't miss" events .. hard to define my intrests... they're all across the board.

Branson was lovely, full of neon lights. . . probably the closest to Vegas I'm going to see anytime soon! Minus the casino gambling, of course ;)

I didn't have a very great experience with the televangelests but the trip itself was nice. Missouri is beaitful, hard to beat sunset over the ozarks. remind me to make a new post to the whats better than an orgasm thread ;)

So glad you liked it here, Stillwater...Just wish Murphy and I had known you were here. We would have loved to meet you and show you around a bit.
The only thing better than sunset over the Ozarks is sunrise over the Ozarks...:D
Hope you can make it back down for the Midwest Fest we're trying to plan.

Stillwater, I too am sorry we Didn't know you were coming... would have found a way to kidnap you for a bit. Yeah, the tour groups really hit the televangelist circuit, but if you come out on your own, there's a pretty complete young adult entertainment culture down here. Everything from clubs to little tiny blues bars.
