Lixy...first of all, happy birthday! Secondly, this is all the same song? The second line I recognized a version of: "Shooting at the walls of heartache" which is part of "The Warrior" by Scandal featuring Patty Smyth, but the rest of the lyrics don't fit. Let me do some research, g/f. :D

Drawing a complete blank on that one...I don't recognize any part of the lyric, other than the "walls of heartache", & the rest don't fit...could be Lixy has landed a true obscurity here...sorry I can't help, maybe if more clues pop up you can pass them along Lixy...

Well, that's a relief...I don't know that song, so I wouldn't have any way to recognize it...funny thing, the Wife called me at work today with a ? for the Music Perfesser, which he was able to answer right away..."who did the original version of 'Signs'?" A: 5-Man Electrical Band, another 1HW...now I can't seem to remember which hair band of the 80s covered the song...anybody?

SUGARSPRINKLES!!!!!! I LOVE YOU HUN! OMG.....I was on a site today that had.....(I think it was Dexy's Midnight Runners)...a group called Dexy's......and I did a Real Player download of the first verse....and it was the song I wanted......but the singer had an accent. This made me think it was Dexy's Midnight Runners.....them being from Ireland and all.....but it wasn't the "original" artists!
