What a waste! Story from my hometown
Ky. Fire Officials Probe Tequila Overflow
Mon Feb 10,11:50 AM ET LOUISVILLE, KY. - More than 1,000 gallons of tequila spilled into the sewer system Monday after a worker tried to unload it from a truck into an already full storage tank at a distillery, officials said. The tequila overflowed at a rate of 100 gallons per minute, resulting in 1,500 to 1,800 gallons entering the city sewer system, said Phil Lynch, a spokesman for the Brown-Forman Distillery. Fire and sewer officials were called because of the flammability of the 80-proof liquor, he said. Water was used to dilute the spilled alcohol. "It was a simple case of human error," Lynch said. |
Inexcusable human error:p
I can't believe they did not just make a lime and salt dam:D |
Yeah, but the solution they used is something sometimes employed by various bars in making drinks. ;)

Thats just sad...i wonder how many margueritas will never be drunk ? drank? because of this horrible accident :(
|
But you can bet there are 1000s of rats doing Speedy Gonzolez and Slow Poke Rodrigez impressions down there that night. :D

I heard that story on the news last night and thought it was a waste too! But, then I thought otherwise. Just think of the great party they gave the wild life out there. I am LMAO thinking of all the deer, raccoons, and other rodents with bloodshot eyes, staggering in the woods!:D Maybe they ought to dump some tylenol down the sewers now!

toomanystrokes, unfortunately, being right on the Ohio, I'm sure none of the good stuff got to the woods before it got to the river. ;)

In Ky wasting that much good shine is a hangn' offense
