You've got to prepare yourself for it, otherwise it will hurt.

I'd suggest starting with a finger, or a very small (1" at its widest part) butt plug. Do this alone, and use LOTS of lube. Don't use fats. Forget about the Vaseline, leave the butter and Crisco in the kitchen.
