Cravings!

My Angel and I are sitting here, ever so slightly loaded, and we got to wondering what kind of things you crave when you've had a few drinks! In her case it's lettuce..... go figure!! With me, I crave for Celticangel... MUCH more understandable, I think!! :D

Anyone else got any "weird" cravings after you've had a few??

Lettuce? Interesting. I don't crave food when I'm drinking but I do like a greasy breakfast the next morning.

I never get drunk and then toke at the same time....sucks to be puking while you have the munchies... :D

Hmmmmmm???? They say there is a sandwich in every bottle (of beer), so maybe I crave another sandwich!?

Seriously though, I don't eat and drink. If I have a beer or 3 and then dinner....I'm done drinking for the evening. I drink milk with my meals. But if I do get carried away and wake hungover........I still don't know why, but I crave a Big Mac. That's the only time I ever eat McDonalds food. WTF is that?

Oral - suppose that's why my sweetie doesn't mind when I have a few??

Lix - I reckon Wendy's is better for hangovers - just a thought.

I don't really drink anymore and I have to say I crave more things sober then drinking and I enjoy much more too.

It's strange ... but I believe that the craving greasy foods after drinking has a lot to do with alcohol interfering with dopamine reuptake in the brain. Perhaps the greasy food stimulates the "reward centre" [mesolimbic dopamine system?] and thus causes more dopamine to be released _after_ drunkeness .. re-stimulating cells used to long term potentiation ..

Just a hunch though :)
