Double meanings

As I sit here drinking an Iced Coffee from the carton I was struck by the words "Push flaps right back - open"

That always made me chuckle as a kid because of the sexual connotations you can draw to it. Anyone else seen something that made them think of sex because of the way it was written?

Putting my mouth to the flaps right now.

loads of things that i see make me think of sex. But then thats just possibly me!

HHMM my guy likes to golf...and always is talking about the game, the clubs...whenever he talks about the "shaft" of his clubs I can't stop giggling.

White Noise 07-05-2003 11:45 PM

That's the spirit. *LOL*

Any more?

Hole in one (staying with the golf idea). :D

I also used to chuckle with "Things go better with Coke" after I heard a joke about a Pepsi salesman talking to a cannibal. Hee hee. There I go again.

Snooker, now do I pot the pink or the brown?

denny 07-06-2003 09:07 AM

"put it in the hole"!!!

txgrneyes 07-06-2003 01:18 PM

Perfect example....in the car with the kids...pull in drive thru at Dairy Queen...we get ice cream cones...

I look in the review mirror and tell my daughter, "Lick it baby, it is dripping on your hand" Then I wonder to myself...Am i teaching her for later in life?

I know I am sick. Bare with me.

Go Tex!!

DQ symbolism. I love it!!

Oohh I love double entendres. It used to be a favorite pastime of mine to find dirty double meaning in everyday phrases or conversations. Visual ones are great too. I always get a kick out of any cook dusting his or her rolling pin with flour. To me it always suggested something very naughty... Especially the up and down and swirly motions made in order to get the entire surface covered.

i had a high school teacher who would always ask "How did you make out?" after an assignment. I always thought this was funny, nobody else ever seemed to though.

-saw a sign the other day that said "caution! open man-hole"
-saw a sign on a church bulletin board that said "kneel and give thanks!"
-I knew a girl in school named "Anita Dyke"

I'm reminded of the brand name/slogan game and meanings taken out of context.

"Snickers really satisfies"
"melts in your mouth, not in your hand"
"good to the last drop"

etc.
