Make sure you have java enabled on your browser BIBI...I can never get in with the netscape browser...so if you have IE use that one! And when you go to chat you will see a security certificate pop up..clic on yes!!!!!!!!
Or if all else fails..download MIRC!!!

the room clears out like a VD clinic with a contamination problem everytime i come in. i abstain for the well-being of pre-existing conversations.

because I can't be on the phone and in chat at the same time..... :D

I think I'll steer clear of chat for a while.............the last couple of times I've gone I get a couple of "hello's" and that's about it. Felt like I just wasn't part of the particular "clique" that was there at the time.
I have gone other times and had a wonderful time...... who knows why the difference, but it happens, and I'm sure not just to me.

So rather than feeling left out and ignored, I'll just stay on the boards for now.

I'll probably try again another time, but not for a while. :(

I've gone plenty of times and had a ball!! There are a lot of great people that go to chat and I've enjoyed myself imensely.

But the last couple of times it's like maybe I forgot to take a shower or maybe I've got bad breath or something....:eek:

Well, it wasn't an "actively" rude......no one said or did anything rude to me....never have. I just felt "invisible" for whatever reason.

I don't want to bring this thread down......Chat can be a real fun place.....it just hasn't been for me the last couple of times.

I have tried getting into this chat and I can never get it to work anyone ever wanna talk to me on yahoo pager please look me up I would love to talk to all in pixies

Don't know if anyone else is like me but I log into chat and perv while I am there so sometimes I am not chatting as much as other times....

Also if you come into chat and are not actively chatting in the main it is often assumed you may be in a PM with someone... at least that is the way I think...so I tend to not bug quiet people.

I don't generally recommend it to women, although this one isn't over-run with typical chatroom males.

I'm not even going to try to explain my thoughts on chatrooms and behavior. No-one ever gets it.

I'm sorry for your experiences (((SS))).....but all the time i've gone into the chat i have never noticed clique-iness.... but then i just butt in and add my piece anyway *LOL* I figure whats said in the main room is really for anyone to add to..

The chat room is like a party, sometimes its a blast and a ton of fun and sometimes everyone has hooked up and everyone seems busy with eachother.

Sometimes (although rarely) its a big orgy, sometimes its all joking around, sometimes its personal information, sometimes its just everyone hitting on PixieSprite ... LOL

I'm here(there) right now but the place is empty..

pixies chat is a lot like other chat rooms I've been to if you don't just jump in and chat it's not much fun but once you start chatting and people get to know you they chat with you more
the one thing I have noticed that dosn't happen in pixxies chat as much as in other place I've been is you don't ASL (Age, Sex, Location) checks all the time

Can you even believe that? LOL! Gives me time to catch up with my goings on for that matter........but I digress.......

I talk to EVERYONE! (*waits for the gasps to subside at the surprise of me even expressing an opinion as I am usually so quiet and all*) So whenever you see me in there.....be ready for anything! K?

Irish - I have no idea whether it's my thing or not since I've never been brave enough to do it - I'm a big believer in 'don't knock it til you've tried it'. . .

I'm sure I'll get brave enough eventually. Perhaps I'll choose a time when Lixy and Lilith are there, since it seems they'll look after me! And Ironwood will of course have to be my body guard to protect me from the savage chat-room males.
