This pic was taken down by the harbour here in my hometown back in early January. It was freezing cold that day, but at the same time so unbelieveably beautiful...so I took a couple of pics... and then I hurried back to my warm car. :)

These are all great pictures. Christine, I love that picture of the harbour ... it is beautiful. And that arbor looks like a fantastic place to have your morning coffee, scotz. And, sugarsprinkles, I waved at your window :)

Well, as you know, I live in Barcelona (Spain) and for me it is the most beautiful city in Europe. Barcelona is very modern and at the same time very old. The architecture of Gaudí is incredible...lets start with him... here is the entrance of his "Parc Guell"

...and you all will have heard of our famous cathedral (as well from Gaudí...but he could never finish it, as he was killed in 1927 by a tram)...

...and of course we have a very beautiful port...

...a partial view of our beautiful city (4.5 million habitants)...

... and here is a view from my little terrace, high over the roofs... as you can see, I live really in the center of this city...

...and here its me, practising my second-favorite hobby....eating!!! The meditteranean food is just incredible!!

Wonderful pictures everyone. I can't wait till I get back home to my own pc so I can share with you as well. Though my corner looks just like the very 1st pic posted, just no palm trees around here, but lots of rock cliffs and bluffs.

Christine that is a wonderful photo, love the still water and the snow, almost looks like a black and white and I bet it would look great as a B&W....

Thanks, MidnightKiss!! And you're certainly right about one thing. It really IS little!! That's one reason we're hoping to move out to Murphy, jennaflower, and your part of the country. Hoping to find something in the Ozarks, not terribly far from Branson. We just completely fell in love with the area and are dying to go back!

Beautfiul Local Waterfall
 

This is a water-fall that is about an hour and a half's drive from my house, but it is totally worth the drive.

Peoria's maybe 115-120K and with suburbs, around 350K population.
