Crank-It-Up!

Ok, all you music lovers here at Pixies.

It's a beautiful day, sunny, warm, a perfect day for taking a drive, with the windows/top down on your vehicle.

Just gonna drive around with the CD player cranked.

What tunes do you HAVE to play when you do this?

For me..

Bob Seger- Roll Me Away, Shakedown, Turn The Page (live)
Meatloaf- Objects In the Rear View Mirror May Appear Closer Than they are
Tom Petty- Refugee, Free Fallin-think Jerry McGwire!
Brian Setzer Orchestra- Jump Jive an' Wail
The Cars- Magic
BoDeans- Closer to Free, Good Things
Aerosmith- Dude (looks like a lady)
Van Halen- Panama, Right Now, Don't Tell Me (what love can do)

Lilith 04-17-2002 05:22 PM

Never Gonna Stop~Rob Zombie
Let the Bodies Hit the Floor~?
To Be Real~ Cheryl Lynn
Best of My Love~ The Emotions
You Took the Words Right Out of My Mouth~Meatloaf
Anything Eddie Money or .38 Special (nostalgia)

Aerosmith......Young lust anthology...listening to it now.....

Irish 04-17-2002 06:30 PM

I have many groups/individual-performers;that I like.My favorite
all around groups have always been the Rolling Stones! Also The
Eagles!Aerosmith is(in my opinion)the closest thing to the Stones;
but even tho ;I have the best CD players in my cars;available.I tend not to listen to them while driving as my foot gets much too
heavy!I have been told;that I drive much to fast anyway.60mph
;on the turnpike;feels like you're crawling;after doing 160-180mph
all afternoon on the racetrack! Irish

VERY GOOD stuff there WildIrish!

That one's definatly in my CD player for a road trip.

WildIrish 03-09-2007 09:10 AM

I assume I'm like everyone else in that I go from Metallica to James Taylor to Disturbed to Sinatra to NPR to unplugged Stain'd to Jamie Cullum to Billy Joel to Korn.....and that's just on my way home.

But yeah, S & M seems to always be in the mix somewhere.

1nutworld 03-09-2007 09:32 AM

I don't usually have any James Taylor in the mix, but yeah my taste varies greatly.

Lilith 03-09-2007 05:04 PM
