I have visited many forums on many sites, and this is the first site where I haven't seen a single "Flame War". You people are all (in)decent, honest, fun-loving folk. I would be proud to call any of you "friend". Good clean fun. I LOVE IT!

I wholeheartedly agree, Murphy!! And I must admit I was pleasantly surprised. Not sure what I expected, but kind, polite, and mannerly sex fiends and perverts (meant in the nicest way, of course) sure wasn't it.

Not to sound like an idiot (which I'm prone to do from time to time) but what is a "Flame Thread"?

Flame wars - where one posts rude or ugly comments, another retaliates with the same, others dogpile on with personal attacks on the the "flamers", etc., ad nauseum... and I agree, we live by the Golden Rule here, and those who don't aren't invited to stay long... quite unique on the 'Net, IMO...

and usually if some one does get outta hand.....the LOVEDIVA stomps em with her steeltoed boots.......no badmouthing allowed here........just...... good(bad?)...... clean(and this from someone covered in pudding!) fun and flirting and joking.......

P.S.Seriously;that is one of the main things that attracted me to
Pixies.When;I was younger;I used to think that if you thought
differently then me;that you were wrong.Now(matured,I hope)I
realise that you can have a differing opinion from mine and still be
a good person!As long as you're not hurting anyone!

My guess would be that the "lone dissenter" is most likely very immature and just wanted to get a reaction from the rest of us.

From my personal experience here, in just a very short time, Pixie's just doesn't work that way.

This is what make Pixies Place the best place to be! Awesome friendships have developped here and we are truly one big happy family! We may be a bit on the kinky side at times..but it's all fun!! And we all love it here!! (except maybe the ones who felt my boot..LMAO)

If it's really true that this is a flame free forum...then I have found my heaven.


For the past 2...yes 2 years I have had my own website that I finally closed down entirely a month ago. I closed it due to all the nasty people who would flame strangers and friends alike.

I kept telling these fine folks at my website that there WAS a big difference between telling someone "fuck you dahling" and yelling FUCK OFF! to people. You CAN communicate clearly by the written/typed word and you CAN PURPOSELY hurt other people with your words.

Anyway, I miss the friends I closed shop on but I do NOT miss the painful feelings that went along with owning a place what was filled with mean spirit and unkind thoughts.

I am a peacemaker and a lover....and they tried to make me feel shame about the fact that I just did not want to fight...

ah well....long story. VERY long tiring story.

Anyhoo, am enjoying the peaceful give and take that I see happening here.
