Favorite movie
Okay, what is your favorite movie of all time??
If you must, pick three. Mine are 1. Fried green tomatoes 2. Batman Returns 3. Steel Magnolias I don't like many "chick flicks", but hese two are great!! I have alot of old ones I love too, but had to narrow it down |
1. The Hunt For Red October
2. The Thomas Crown Affair (1999 version) 3. When Harry Met Sally (no, really!!!) |
I can not pick my 3 fav of all time because it changes day to day, mood to mood, but here are 3 (all campy musicals) I repeatedly enjoy..
1.Grease 2.That Thing You Do 3.Hedwig and the Angry Inch |
1. Crouching tiger, hidden dragon
2. The Great Escape 3. Donovan's Reef These are the three I could watch(HAVE WATCHED) over and over and over....................you get the point!!!!!!!!! |
Just three?!? Umm... Like Lilith, my selection changes frequently.
1) Dead Poets' Society (I love Robin Williams. I also love Ethan Hawke --- though for very different reasons! Plus I've just felt a resonance with this movie since the day I first saw it.) 2) Amélie (If the Cirque du Soleil decided to make a chick flick this would be the result... It's quirky, bright, sweet, and smart.) 3) Baraka (Okay, so there's no plot to this one. And no characters. It's still one of the most moving experiences I've ever had from just watching something. The movie consists of sequences filmed all around the world, kind of a day in the life of the earth, as it moves from dawn to dusk. It's breathtakingly beautiful.) --- sweetstuff |
Mindboxer --- I LOOOOOVE the soundtrack to Crouching Tiger. I almost included it on my list --- it was a close call! Glad it made it onto the board in someone's list, though.

I cannot pick just three movies because my likes change so much.
I constantly think that everytime that I watch a movie that is new and appeals to me that it is the best. There are some movies that I just will not watch because of who is in them.I won't mention them here because they appeal to some of the pixies members! A few things that I have noticed:I tend to like movies that you have to figure out the perpetrater and reason.I tend to like Buddy and revenge flicks.I also tend to gravitate towards violence.By buddy flicks;I mean ones where friends or people of like lifestyles do things because thier cohorts were wronged.I like movies where I can relate to what the person is feeling;personaly! Irish P.S.Exp:Harley Davidson and The Marlboro Man. Different lifestyles but knowing that the other can be counted on. Remembrance&loyalty to ones background. |
