Sad news
 

Bilbo and myself got a phone call tonight that has just floored us both as it was VERY unexpected.

Scab, a member of Pixies died on Friday night, it is believed he passed in his sleep, from what seems to be another brain anurysm. Though we have still not got all details.

45 is just far too young to go.

Just wanted to let those know that knew him here.

I am very sorry to hear this even though I never had the opportunity to get to know Scab.

That is so awful. I'm so sorry.

:faint: Shock is an understatement. I know how close you were and when you nurtured him to coming online with us. With his handicap and your assistance, we know he dearly enjoyed these passed years of online chatting. You added much good to his situation and I'm sorry for the loss of a close friend for both of you. :(

Sorry to hear about him, I didn't know him well, but his self-effacing wit made him stand out from the crowd...he will be missed.
And yes, 45 is way too young...

I never crossed paths with Scab but I am so sorry to hear this, how terribly sad. My condolences to you.

To you, scab's family, friends, and others in caring heart, uplifting scab in word and thought is my expression to you all. I didn't know him or ever chat, but, being a pixie peep is a special place in life. I shared at least that with him.

i am sorry for your loss...I personally didn't know him...but if he was a pixie then he was good people.

Lil's post about Scab confirms my memory of him; he was mostly a Chat Rat, apparently only posting to the forum when chat wasn't working for him. Nonetheless, he was all Pixie, whatever medium he got here via, & a very good friend to Sharni & Bilbo, and that makes him one of the greats in my book. RIP, my friend.

I never had the opportunity to meet him but Condolences to his Family and close friends and may he rest in peace!

I had a chance to chat with Scab a few times. He was always interesting and fun to spend time with. I don't recall what the bet was he had with Sharni and Bilbo, but I remember what his "prize" was if he won..... Thinking back I'm not so sure if it was a bet or a challenge.

Sharni & Bilbo, He was very fortunate to have you for friends and I am so sorry to hear of your loss. My sympathy to you and to his family.

There are no wheelchairs or pain where he is now. Rest in peace Scab.
