But for those that are more obscure. Where does your user name come from, or what made you decide to use that particular user name?

sodak = short for South Dakota, cause I'm from there.

lost soul = cause my soul was lost.

Jude is the patron saint of desperate/lost causes, and some say fools. And there are so many of the latter on the internet it seemed appropriate. It was also the name of my favorite character in a role playing game (Vampire the Masquerade).

30 comes from how old I was when I created/took on that name for my ID on the internet.

Irish is my nickname in real life. Irish :irish:

Lakritze is the german word for licorice.

I love snow, and neige is the French word for snow!

Tess was a nickname I had on another board and the friend that gave me the Pixie link suggested I put the tingling in front. :)

For those that maybe didn't guess, my late brother's name was Dick. :)

The "DM" bit is short for Dangermouse - my most favouritist cartoon ever! (Probably not too familiar to you guys across the pond!) Because so many other folks like him too, I picked the "383" part as it was part of both my car and motorbike registration numbers!

Shortened the original name to DM383 mainy because it took too long to log in to emails, websites etc otherwise!!

I got the name ShadowDancer from a friend of mine. She said it suited me because I don't like being the center of attention in a group, but rather danced along the fringes in the shadows.

You can dance :undies: over, ..... I mean, for me anytime. :tongue:

"rabbit" was a nickname given to me by my fraternity brothers in college. The reason is still muddled, though one person told me it was because I was the fastest guy in the house. Might have also had someting to do with my promiscuity... :p

Obscure UK art-rock band from the late '60s-early '70s called King Crimson, on their 1st album is a track "21st Century Schizoid Man" (sung by then bass player Greg Lake, later founded Emerson, Lake & Palmer, for anyone who cares about such things). My RL name is Scott, & one day my boss addressed me as 21st Century Scotzoid Man, & the nick stuck to me like glue...
