OK.. if they are going to make another movie from this series, then shouldn't they stick to the original premise? I do believe that Spock's mother was human, wasn't she?

I have to wonder if this isn't a mistake made by People Magazine.

Cheyanne, you're right about Spock's mom ... and it's a sin if they've changed that for the movie. Some things you just shouldn't change.

It looks like Poeple magazine has made a mistake in thier reporting. Winona Ryder is spock's human mother not vulcan.

I think the whole thing will generate huge interest and profits for the producers that do these movie things. Look at the Star Wars Saga. Sequel, Semii-Sequel, Prequel, Penultimate Sequel, Anti-Prequel. You name it, there is a movie for it. Go Star Trek!! :cheerlead :cheerlead :cheerlead
