Best Costume Ever?
 

What was your favorite Halloween or masquerade costume?

I'll bite... last year I actually went as a fallen angel, embracing my personality. Complete with big black feathered wings, a black halo, fishnet stocking, and darkened eyes, it was the sexiest and true-ist to myself I've felt in a long time :)

Awesome. I think the best costumes are either tied to our real selves or involve a happy childhood memory.

I love fancy dress. One year I was a cat (black hotpants, tight long sleeved black top, fishnets, knee length boots, a tail, ears and fabulous 'cat-like' eye make-up with a cheeky little nose and whiskers)

I also did 'Bride of Frankenstein' one year, with a straight black satin skirt with a bustle and a train, plus my black lace basque and a huge explosion of black net on my head as a veil and scary-but-sexy make-up once again.

I ought to do a Hallowe'en party this year, I suppose....perhaps my Mum would have the little one overnight.

We don't do Halloween here.

Oldfart do you do costume parties at all?

I figured out my costume for this year (finally).

I'm going to dress up as my own evil twin.

That way, when I TP the house, I can blame it on myself, and not feel guilty about it.

The best was last year when I dressed up as a gold-digger and my Joe dressed as an old geezer. For some reason others didn't see the humor in that the way we did. :D

Years ago, when I worked as a lunch aide at my boys' school, a friend and I dressed up as 'bag ladies.' It was fun digging through closets to see what could be worn and not appear too 'dressy.' And it was extremely comfortable.

I'm still looking for a costume I can afford. :shrug:

Grab a suitcase, put on a nice jacket, and maybe a nice hat, and you can go as a door to door ladies panty salesman. :jester: :jester:

3 years ago, I dyed my hair green and spiked it. I put clamp-on nipple jewelry on, a black leather vest and tight jeans, and went out to a gay bar.

It was fun getting hit on and saying no, because I may have never said no to a woman.

It's been a very long time since I dressed up, but my favorite costume was "Julius Caesar". Pair of sandals, white toga, leaves in the hair...quite a sight I was. lol


I was at a high school party and a girl came up to me & said "Julius Caesar drank his own urine, would you do that?"

This year I want to be something sexy...I'll have to put some thought into it.

Last time I dressed up I wore a gorilla costume and a man's business suit...certainly NOT sexy. :yikes:

One year I stole an Idea from Mad magazine and went as a flasher against nudity. Wore a trench coat with shorts and a wife beater that I had written on it Flasher against nudity.

In junior high, I dressed up as a table with my bloody "severed" head on a plate. I re did the same idea a few years back whilst in college. I won best costume. Then won a $50 bar tab later on that night for best costume. (Ha! I was the sober driver that night, so my friends got to have my drinks for me, while I drank virgin pina coladas and shirley temples)

This year, Mayhem and I have a birthing class to go to, of all things, on Halloween night. I told him that I wanted to dress up---I'll go as a very pregnant woman, and he can dress up as a bus driver! HA!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Halloween! It is my favorite holiday, even though I have one kid whose b-day is the day after Christmas, and Little Mayhem/Lizz is due to make his/her appearance at Christmastime as well. Halloween just suits me better!
