Voices

We all have them.

Does anyone else "hear" member's voices (both known and those they imagine them to sound like) when they read posts?

Booger 05-02-2007 12:02 PM

No but I do have Voices in my head telling me to do things.

jseal 05-02-2007 12:03 PM

WildIrish,

Yessir! I do. Not all the time, but often - yes.

I do sometimes but all the times I've actually heard Pixies talk, their voices were nothing like I had imagined!!!

wyndhy 05-02-2007 04:02 PM

nope. i don't do it when i read books either

Oldfart 05-02-2007 04:28 PM

I didn't, but now do for our people I've met.

osuche 05-02-2007 04:48 PM

LMAO - yes I hear voices. And I know what several Pixies sound like, so I use thier real voices.

BTW - if anyone is imagining mine....I've been told my voice (and eyes!) are closest to Michelle Pfeiffer's :p

Oldfart 05-02-2007 04:56 PM

Aqua 05-02-2007 08:59 PM

Not even, Lil. Fran's voice (on crack or otherwise) would never get me off... :D

Your's on the other hand... :hot:

IowaMan 05-03-2007 09:49 PM

Yep, I guess I do hear voices when I read posts or PM's. I've heard a few Pixies speak and was right on with all but one.

As for my voice......... can't say that I like it. I guess it's from having to sit and listen to it far too often in college while working in radio. Although I did always enjoy listening to me doing my Yogi Bear impersonation. :D

Who did you miss? :)

dicksbro 05-04-2007 02:55 AM

Yep, I usually have a voice in mind when I read a post. Like OF said, it's especially true with Pixies I've met or talked to on the phone.

Well, now I'm starting to think that I may have really missed on yours. You've never purred to me like Catwoman. ................................. :(

Let's just say that the one I was really off with threw me because had I not had caller ID, I would've thought I was being called by a radio station.

Loulabelle 05-04-2007 06:03 AM

I don't even have voices in my head of people I've met! Hahahaha

When I read posts I hear my own voice in my head. You all sound like Posh 20 something year old Brits to me! Hahahaha...

I've never been told that I sound like anyone, unless I'm on stage, in which case I did one part once where I was told I sounded like Penelope Keith. I'm not quite as plummy in my natural speech but it's a fair comparison I think.

WildIrish 05-04-2007 07:25 AM

OMG!

I just read Loulabelle's post with an accent! :roflmao:
