IowaMan Doing Well
 

I got an email today saying...

Hey, just thought I'd let you know that I had a bit of a complication and ended up staying overnight at the hospital. I'm at my best friend's sister's place now and will spend the night tonight.

Guess Uncle IowaMan is going to play Uno for most of the night with the girls. I'm still sort of in a daze and really don't remember a whole lot from the procedure yesterday. I remember getting the results, sort of, and waking up in a room but that's about it. It was 12:51pm and the doctor told me to relax and that was it for me.

Hopefully I'll be home tomorrow unless the girls decide that I'm going to be a permanent fixture at their place. Would't be the first time they've tried to pull that one. LOL



So -- as you can see he's OK and doing well enough to play Uno...a game of stamina and chance.

Thanks for the update! Next time you converse with him, tell him to hurry up and get back here. I'm sure we can scrounge up an online uno game if that is what it takes!

Thank you so much everybody for your well wishes. Wasn't expecting to see a posting about me being out of commision. I'm so sorry if I had anybody worried, believe me it wasn't my intention.

Like osuche said, I had a couple of complications but they kept me overnight for observation and let me go in the morning once I had finished my jello. And oh, what wonderful jello it was. :rofl: Just a minor setback for me and I'll be fine, I guarantee it.

I'm home now and feeling pretty well, a bit overwhelmed actually that I had so many messages waiting for me. Thanks again to everyone.

As for the Uno games........ well the girls pretty much took Uncle IowaMan to the cleaners. And nope, it wasn't a strip game Gekko. LOL

Thanks again everybody for your concern and well wishes I really am sorry if I worried any of you.

Now for you osuche........... I said it in another thread but may as well put it here as well. If there is anything at all I can do to help you out with your mom please let me know.
