What personal characteristics do you find completely intolerable in someone?

I have a perfactly Despicable boss at the moment...I will chime in with some of his most valuable personality traits soon... :p

i hate it when someone hogs all the attention, dismissing others who try and join in

people who wring every last bit of fun out of things

people who dish it out and whine like a little bitch when they are forced to take it

People with voices like Fran Drescher's in "The Nanny"....OK, OK, I'm sorry if YOU're voice is just like Fran Dreschers. :D

Now for something I find truly intolerable (this still doesn't mean I can EVER watch Fran Drescher on TV again, though):

People who say one thing to your face and another to your back.

power hungry at all costs... willing to stab anyone in the back and throw anyone under the boss so long as it gains power (power can also equal ego here).

argumentative, I enjoy a good debate, but someone who will argue everything including the color of the sky and grass.

can't admit when wrong... as a matter of fact they are NEVER wrong, just misunderstood.

spend all their time providing every excuse under the sun to support their inability to be productive when they could be doing something productive.

Welllllll...sometimes the grass is green and sometimes its brown and sometimes the sky is blue and sometimes its gray. :D

Spending more time pointing out the faults of specific people. I'm not talking about an occasional vent, I'm talking every conversation revolving about how so and so raises their kids so horribly and this person is so lazy and that person is so irresponsible... :rolleyes2

People who ask people for favors they could do just as easily themselves....just so they know they're important

People who make bold assertions in private and then backpedal in public, when their support is required

People who fire others (good employees who have wives/husbands and children and commitments) just to preserve their own standard of living

People that say one thing to your face and immediately demean you to your peers.....

I can tolerate alot of shit, but I can't tolerate being lied to. Lie to me once and good luck regaining my trust.

good description of the guitarist/singer in my little rock n roll band...his day job is elementary school music teacher, & he brings that mentality to our rehersals...there's a handful of songs I used to like, but never want to play again cuz the SOB has sucked the fun right out of 'em...

Lazy, selfish people who think you aren't wise to their supposed "diplomacy" when they try and push their hated work off on you.

People who will not take responsibility for their own actions...claiming to always be in the wrong place at the wrong time with a black cloud over their life. They always blame someone else for their misfortune when, in truth, everyone else can see that they are the cause of their own problems.

If we're talking about bosses...I can't stand being micro-managed. If you want to do it...do it. There's a reason I'm here. Let me work. That was a big part of why I left my last job.

People who "enforce" morality and rules with others but doin't abide by the morals and rules they set
