when someone is suddenly posting so contrary to their usual posts. Obviously someone is messing with a member when all of a sudden their profile is changed and they make hateful posts.

Best thing to do is report the posts and let me or the mods clean up the mess.

Thanks to those of you who tried to get things fixed!

i was trying to help with some damage control and I had forgotten that mods can delete nasty trollish posts *doh* me brain has went away---chalk it up to old-timer's disease.

I am really glad to hear it is rare. Seems like the nature of the place dictates being respectful of eachother.

true Matticus, we tend to be respectful and go by the thinking "If you don't have anything nice to say to each other, don't say anything at all."

on occasion, we do have some issues pop up that discussion and debate get a little heated, but 98% of the time, members refrain from name calling and the like. If it does happen, a mod will PM the naughty one and warn them to behave themselves....or risk decapitation at the IP addy.

That is really cool. I am totally down with heated discussions as long as it doesn't boil down to "your daughter is a whore" :lol:

I actually run a board where we have a ton of really heated politcal and religious discussions. There is always a difference between disagree and disrespect imo.

Since I've been logged off...I missed all the unpleasantries. For that I'm grateful, because I don't take well to impolite behavior amongst adults. Especially when it is aimed at someone brave enough to expose themselves to us, in pictures and otherwise.

I'm sorry you saw what you did, but please know that it's behaviour very rarely exhibited and quickly acted upon. A public beheading usually follows! :D
