or fork me with a poke but either way I just completed the last paper for my intern portfolio aka the last assignment for my degree. I am so fucking relieved.

What have you encountered in your life that made you feel so glad to just finally finish doing it?

both pregnancies and my marriage ;)

Thanks BIBI. I remember being both happy and sad to be finished being pregnant.

This weekend I finished a pretty demanding play's performance run. I'm definitely relieved that's over, though I'll miss it too..... always feels like that after all the effort of auditioning, rehearsing and performing any production.

Retirement! No doubt about it. I enjoyed my job, but retirement was the best part! :)

Sounds silly now but I studied so hard for my driver's test back in high school. I was sooooooooo scared to fail it the first time out. I passed it but I can remember as if it were yesterday how nervous I was at "on the road" test time!

Also, taking my open water certification test. I almost hyperventilated as we dove down 27 ft. to the first platform in a quarry (we only ever played around in a pool prior to this) to do the underwater part of the test. That's not a good thing cause you should always just breathe normally. I'm claustrophobic and I had different expectations of how I was going to feel under all that water. Turns out it's more open than surrounding. After the test (which I passed) I was the only one in my class with a reading of air close to 500lbs. That's not good either because you really shouldn't dive with 500 or less pounds of air!

So THAT's what happened to you!!! :D

Being on a couple different Board of Directors........ glad I did it, glad it's done! :)

School, both go rounds... unfortunately I didn't have the feeling of relief wash over me until my pieces of paper appeared in the mail. It was my own personal hell that I had missed an exam or paper or something and it would be caught at the very last minute.

Maddy, I've been having these psychotic nightmares about not being awarded my degree due to a paperwork glitch etc.

Congrads Lilith, the only thing i ever want over was my own business, you know the old saying its better to be your own boss, but what they dont tell you is you have to work very long hours, just about 7 days a week, worry about every little thing and the money you make does make up for this and the loss of time with your family....i was so glad when i sold it that that part of my life was over

Gotta go with the pregnancy.....that was a very very hard 9 months for me from the day I found out til the day she was in my arms......

My Chemical Enginmeering school....when I finished that last course...a lab in the summer...I was the happiest woman on earth

remodeling this house. it was fun while it lasted but it felt good to be done and even better to feel proud of our efforts.

especially since one of the realtors who showed the place asked me if i was an interior decorator. :o i wanted to kiss her!

I think every time I've moved .... I hate all of the build up to the move ... all the packing and sorting, etc. and then the physical labor of moving is what I dread .... so when the move is complete I'm always just so happy!

OMG I'd rather die than move. That takes bravery. Of course if I moved I'd probably solve Mr. Lil's packrat problem :D

To bad you can't list the job you do here on an app lilith. This would be great experence to list for dealing with childern.
