I need help fast!!!

Before Mrs. WI gets home!

I baked Pumpkin Sour Cream bread with Craisins. Does it sound ok or should I toss it before she gets home? :p

maddy 10-12-2005 07:14 PM

It doesn't sound bad, but I personally don't like Pumpkin.

Aqua 10-12-2005 07:15 PM

I can't answer this poll... I have no idea what the hell that is. :p

Craisin = a sweetened, dried cranberry

maddy 10-12-2005 07:30 PM

does the bread have cream cheese or just sour cream?

OMG, LMFAO.

As far as your poll...I'm not sure where Mrs. WI has been, but I think your decision depends on that AND whether she's been there alone or with the WI-lets. :D

WildIrish 10-12-2005 07:33 PM

I mixed in sour cream as an ingredient.

It's not horrible, just...well...eclectic. ha ha It's like that chair your granny gave you that must've cost a fortune when she bought it, but it doesn't go with ANYTHING at all! You've been looking at it for years and you still don't know whether or not you like it. Well, I've eaten two slices of my bread and I still don't know if it's good. ha ha

WildIrish 10-12-2005 07:35 PM

I think we can safely rule out option one.

I don't even want sex with me right now!

maddy 10-12-2005 07:35 PM

oh dear, this was a WI created recipe not something out of Gram's recipe box?

maddy 10-12-2005 07:37 PM

I'm ruling out option 4 - that's not fair to the kitty ... that leaves you with 2 and 3.

WildIrish 10-12-2005 07:37 PM

Oh no, maddy...this was a wildirish original!

Reminds me of a card I read once, where the cover says "When they made you...they broke the mold!"

and the inside reads "and beat the hell out of the moldmaker!" :rolleyes2

maddy 10-12-2005 07:40 PM

Well I give you much credit for your effort - I don't stray far from tried and true recipes... ones that are typically family approved. I did it once at a holiday and while I thought the carrot thingee I made was darn good - everyone else was polite in their "it's okay" remarks.

wyndhy 10-12-2005 07:40 PM

if you're doubtful, toast it and slather it with butter.

everything's better with butter!

NO MORE MUSHY FOOD FOR YOU!!!!!

maddy 10-12-2005 07:44 PM

This doesn't help ... but I'd suggest this one next time...

WildIrish 10-12-2005 07:46 PM

I can't remember the last time I followed a recipe.

Maybe I should start. lmfao

I enjoy cooking more than baking, but I'm pretty good at each. Uh...usually. ha ha Hey, that's how you stumble across masterpieces, right? Trial and error.

FallenAngel5 10-12-2005 07:59 PM

I think it sounds good :)

Cheyanne 10-12-2005 08:06 PM

LOL.. do you have any cream cheese? Get some out and soften it slightly in the microwave and beat some powdered sugar into it... and then spread over the top. That will hide just about anything.. :D

TinTennessee 10-12-2005 08:13 PM

I think Wyndy and Chey are on to something here lol

I was thinking butter it, sprinkle with a little cinnamon and toast it.

Good luck, whatever you decide! :x:

Lilith 10-12-2005 08:18 PM

I'd have to taste it to be sure.

Steph 10-12-2005 10:06 PM

I OD'ed on the craisins a few years ago and I have pumpkin pie in the fridge (Happy belated Thanksgiving, fellow Canucks!). Because of this stage of my Huttage, I can only eat potatoes. My sweet tooth, however, will kick in by the weekend and I would devour that pie in 15 seconds then.

I think I also mentioned my need to devour meat in the days leading up to my Hut time, too. :bsex:

sodaklostsoul 10-13-2005 03:44 AM

/me wonders how WI's bread went over?!

WildIrish 10-13-2005 06:38 AM

She took a bite, considered toasting it and decided to continue eating it plain. I credit my getting hand-sex last night not to the bread, but to her shopping spree. ha ha

I toasted a slice and buttered it for breakfast and it's definately better with butter. Cinnamon huh? Man, that sounds good! I may have to make more of this questionable bread. lmfao

wyndhy 10-13-2005 07:02 AM

of course it was...i reiterate EVERYTHING IS BETTER WITH BUTTER.
LMAO

oo, oo! or you could take two slices, soak 'em in egg and cinnamon, put some marzipan cheese in the middle and grill it with butter...like those fancy grilled french toast thingies.
mmmmmm.

I'll mail you my keys in case I'm not here. Ya know, if you want to start cooking or something. *shrug*

Cjack 10-13-2005 11:33 AM

Hey if you baked it you better toss it.
:jump:

bare4you 10-13-2005 06:20 PM

So - what was the end result? You have to let us know!

osuche 10-13-2005 08:30 PM

I voted for option 4....just 'cause Mrs. WI would be so preturbed about the litter box that she wouldn't comment on the bread. :D

WildIrish 10-14-2005 11:10 AM

She thought it was ok...and we had sex. :D

I still don't think the two were related. ha ha

And wyndhy, I wasn't saying you can't come over...just that you might not like the menu. We should play it safe and plan on me doing the eating, huh? :slurp:
