What is your favorite warm weather activity? Something you do for recreation.

I looked outside the morning, realized what a beautiful day it was and decided that I should drag my kayak out of storage this memorial day weekend.

What is something you enjoy that helps you relax, or get's your adrenaline flowing? ;)

I like to get out on two wheels.

I love to fish, especially bass fishing. I love the fight they give. :)

I just love the way I feel when I'm in my kayak, the cool feeling of the water on my lower half, the warm sun on my upper...lol

And of course the exhilaration. Have you ever been fishing from your kayak, jay-t?

Sitting in the airconditioning waiting for fall to come back. :)

I luuuuuvvvv to garden....just lemme dig in the dirt for awhile and i'm one happy redneck.

It seems we still have an unusually high canoeing ratio among Pixies.:) This thread will go well with our hobby thread.

I’m going to promise again,:o to get out there this year and see if I can’t fool some fish into thinking fur and feathers are wings.

I like to ram around the lake on a waverunner, that and get the sticks out and hit the golf course.

It does seem we have an unusually high interest in water sports (teehee). Personally, I cant stay out of the water and someday I want to own a place on the lake ;)

I love to walk... to just get out there and let my arms swing. I also love the beach, but I'll stay with the stuff while you swim.

4-wheeling in the outdoors is always fun.

I love to garden or go hiking

Lake Erie is about 3 minutes from my house,so when it's nice,I load up and go fishing there..Usually wind up "adopting" a few kids from parents that are picnicing there,too,for a few hours..Great way to relax for the day..

I have not been fishing in a million years and I love it

I use to have a four wheeler that I loved to venture off on and ride.....I love to swim A LOT and like to fish IF I am catching anything or just sit in a lounge chair and day dream outside in the nice weather.

I love taking walks...or going canoeing (preferably alone witha good book)

I love to pack a picnic and lay under a tree in the park reading or cuddling with my sweetie watching my child play. But since we have moved to MI it will probably be going to the lake.

i love to fish for crappy and bluegill. i love swimming and water play. and in the evening, grilling a thick steak and drinking a few beers. I love looking out at the fireflies sparkling out in the high grass. Seeing all the fireflies makes it so i can say my two favorite words, Plethora of Bioluminescence.

Since it's getting to be that time of year again (my trees are blooming and it's 78 degrees!) I thought I'd give this thread a healthy bump.

Has anyone's interests changed? I sold my kayak to my ex-boyfriend's little brother last July because he wanted it so bad...so I'm thinking of buying a new one.

Now I tan a lot. I'm sure most of my summer is going to involve laying in the backyard with a drink in hand.... :p

I usually build with Habitat on Saturdays, and it's all the more enjoyable when it's sunny. ha ha

I'm thinking of getting back into mountain biking though. I need the time to myself.

This weather makes me want to go camping! This weater makes me antsy to travel!

this year i aim to get a lot more golf in! and maybe buy a bike to go out on bike rides!

I can't wait to go out for strolls in the park and picnics by the water with my little one. He'll be at an age that's old enough to appreciate it, but not old enough to be scampering about and getting into too much mischieve (I hope!)

we had the first picnic of the year yesterday. the weather was unbelievably beautiful. i'm not one to wish the seasons away, but it made me anxious for warm weather.

Mmmm picnics... I like going to the beach, having a wander about, go paddling. Barbeques in my garden. wouldn't be summer without them.

Hopefully this year I wont be working all the good days. It was a running... well I'd say "joke" but I wasn't laughing at the end of summer - that if I was working it'd be a beautiful day, and if I had a day off it'd be miserable.

Don't think I'll be working quite so much this year, so maybe I'll get more summery things done.

I am going to South Louisiana soon to live for a few months. I cannot WAIT. I definitely need to get a new kayak now.
