Actually we do have a couple of polar bears here *LOL* about 2 hours from Brisbane They're in a zoo...where any bear thats here belongs*L*.... |

I wonder what evil thing they did to get transferred there. |
|
Where is the snow? They eat fish? I thought there diet was mainly humans and seals??
|
It does not snow on the Gold Coast *L* & Yep they eat fish...grapes and watermelon
As for what they're fed as a major part of their diet i'm unsure what they feed them |
Grapes and watermelon? - I must go to the wrong part of the tundra - I have never seen those growing there.
|
SOMEBODY STOP THEM! They're making bear soup!!:yikes:

15C is COLD. For the record, Polar bears struggle through the winter hunting seals and losing a third of their body weight. The green months see them hunting and humping and otherwise having fun. BTW, the all time cold in Darwin since the last Ice Age was 10.4C in 1942. |

10.4C? My God, those poor bears. Someone should knit them a sweater. Wouldn't want them to catch a cold in such frigid environs, would we? |
Quote:
   OMG Do you people even own clothes? |
Quote:
He just wants to make sure the women there still wear panties. :D |
*LOL* 23C last night....and i shut the house for the first time in a while...it was bloody cool...had goosebumps and had to put a jumper on
Damn the cold weather! |
:hot: 23°C = 73.4°F :hot:
ROFLMFAOPMP  |

Well duh...they grow close to the ground! You have to dig through 27 feet of snow to get to the watermelons. :D |
*LOL*@WI
They don't grow on the tundra, but then i'm not going to dig through 27 feet of snow to look either *L* But they grow here and the bears love em...Fruit is plentiful here...lots of animals like fruit........My dog loves Rockmelon.....i know a bloke who mixes kiwi, pineapple, banana, melons and all sorts into his racing greyhounds food...Good for em I imagine they give them to the bear to meet some dietary specs....or they maybe just a treat.. But whatever ya do...DON'T tellthe other bears....they might all wanna move here!!! :yikes: :faint: |
