Life's Lessons and Words of Wisdom
 

We all have them. Those lessons we were taught growing up or the wisdom that was gained through life experiences.



What I want is to hear what you have learned along the way. The serious, the funny or the plain ridiculous.


I will start:

Stand in the face of life's storms and the sun will always shine on you. :wine:


also: When in doubt do what your wife tells you to. :D

Whats behind you does not matter.

Life is like a box of chocolates. You never know what your going to get.


Pity we can't take a bite out of it first and if it sucks put it back and get another one. ;)

If you love something set it free if it doesnt come back hunt it down and chain it up

How can I miss you ... if you won't go away?

Oh yeah ... Sticks and stones may break my bones ..... but whips and chains excite me.

There are some things mankind were never meant to know.

Don't poke the bear.

Never rob a small bank.

Don't squeeze the toothpaste from the middle of the tube.

What doesn't kill you, makes you stronger.

If ya don't take a chance, you'll be miserable forever.

The grass is not always greener on the other side.

Never assume anything, just ask.

Check the expiration date of “forever”.

I'll try anything once, twice if I like it! :D

You don't always get what you want, but sometimes you still want what you get.

As you go through life,
Two rules shall never bend.
Never whittle t'wards yourself,
Or piss against the wind.

3 Rules of Life
 

There are only three rules to a happy life:

1.Don't sweat the small shit

2.Everything IS small shit

and rule number three -

Never eat anything bigger than your own head....

Don't feed marshmallows to a bear by clenching them between your teeth and leaning to his face!

You can't rollerskate in a buffalo herd!

If wishes were horses, beggars would ride!



My parents (mostly mom) were sorta pessimistic...wouldn't you say?
