reviving old threads
 

What are your thoughts!
Are you for it or against it?
Secondly what makes it old?
What if you have never read/responded to it before? Is it still old?
Just curious!?!! :)











I personally like threads rotating back around. I don't have that much extra time on my hands to read every single thread the minute it gets posted. :rolleyes: :p :D
Even though somedays I have more time then others. :slurp:

I like it! I visit a couple of message boards, and this one is unique in its revival of old threads (mind you, it's unique for more than that!). I was away for quite a few months a while back, and it's fun to see some of the interesting stuff that was discussed while I was gone :)

Oh, and I would find any thread that's been inactive more than a month or two to be "old", but only because of the nature of the forum...there are so many new threads started every day. I like when the really old stuff pops up again, like from early 2003, 2002 etc...

I like it. I do it myself sometimes when the board seems slow so I am biased. I liked your bumps, Summer!

There are always new pixies around who have never seen them.
You never know, you might get a lurker out to post his or her pic on one.;)

I know that there is still lots of them out there I've never seen.

I like it because of all the posts before I joined - there were so many that it you just read all of them

or sometimes, you just miss some.

The dreaded "Sexy music" thread ... I still don't get that one.

and of course ....

I like to see the 'old' ones surface again. There have been some I missed the first time around. Some are so good, fun, interesting, whatever, that its nice to read them again. And theres those few I skip over 1st, 2nd, 3rd....... time around. :) :D

So keep on bumping.

If they're good, why not bring 'em back. Nothing wrong with oldies. :D

I love to see the old threads get bumped! There are so many interesting topics that have been discussed and it is neat to see if views have changed etc... and in my opinion they are only old if you've seen them a thousand times before!:p

SometimesI see an old thread and think "Jeez what a dork, why did I think that then?" Peeps change a lot as do their feelings and opinions over the years.

I like the bumps Summer! I even had to bump myself once. That was embarrassing! Oh...and then there are the times I don't realize they are bumps (didn't look at date of origination) and I start to answer as if it pertained to "today", and post the reply, only to find out it was a 2 y/o thread and that person is no longer a Pixie. TG for the edit button! LOL! But I like seeing thoughts and pics of days gone by! Bump away hun!

I was having a lot of mixed feelings myself when I looked back at SOFA thread (thanks, Lil, for digging that up) We all acted a bit goofy at that time, but it was a great trip down memory lane, remembering some of those Pixies that don't come around any more...

I love it when old threads are bumped. As has been mentioned before, sometimes it's good to get newer members opinions or answers on the topic. It's also fun to see the responses from those "gone but not forgotten" Pixies.

Scotz that was the beauty of it! Typically less goofy members (except me, I'm always a goofball), letting go a bit. May our water fountains always be filled with Chateau Le'Face 69;)

I love the bumps, I can often see where my attitudes have changed and be reminded of some pixies who aren't about anymore.

i can't vote again but i love the bumps. i go through old threads sometimes when i'm bored (of course with a new baby that doesn't happen all that much anymore) but i never get tired of seeing them. it's funny to think that everything you write is stuck here forever (and not a little intimidating LOL)

I have not been around very long, and the "bumps" are new to me. I like the idea.
