Hey lovies!!!

Why is it that so many people bug for you to post pictures if you haven't? I recently had someone write me saying I needed to post some nude pics because he had his pictures on there to see. (AND NO, this isn't someone I talk to on a regular basis for those of you wondering) I am glad to show anyone a picture of me in my clothes, but not so confident of posting nudes. I have friends that I live by that come to pixies too....kinda nervous about them seeing.

Just wondering if anyone else has this issue? Maybe I am just being sensitive and should get over it, strip down and take some.....

I have met some very special people on here and I do love pixies but sometimes wonder if I am just too sensitive for it all.

I hear ya. I don't have access/time to do camera shoots right now but also know the men and women on Pixies love nude shoots & they are fun & :hot:

imaginewithme post the type of Pics that you want to post if you do want to post pics. Some people can get to be pushy and if you feel that they are bothering you in post or PMs just let one of our fine MODS know. This is one of the thing that they handle. But please feel free to post pics or not of yourself.

Thanks guys....nothing major by any means, just me being sensitive I guess. I am not trying to cause problems. The people I do talk to on a regular basis have been wonderful to me. So, please don't take it the wrong way, just wondered if anyone else has come across this.....

That gentleman was not being very Pixie-like to say that. If it was an 'old timer' shame on him, if its a newbie he'll soon learn. Our sexxxy people post because they want to and the rest of us are very grateful they do! No one should feel pressured to post. And if he thinks you need to post just because he has.... 1) It was his choice to post, 2) If he doesn't like that then he can ask a Mod to remove his pics. We don't post pics simply because someone else has.

I'm sorry you've been pressured. Ignore them and just have fun. :) :) :)

If you ever decide you want to post, our Pixie men (and ladies too) will treat you with respect. This is truely the most caring spot on the web.

You bring your own brand of charm with you in what you post and how you post, pictures of yourself have never been a requirement of pixies. Glad to have you with us.

I feel the same way you do. I just joined this site yesterday, and I've posted a few regular pics of me on the personals forum. But I'm not very conifdent about posting pics of me in the nude and don't think I could ever do it.

Like others have said, no one should do anything you don't want to do. IWM, you're a great addition to Pixies. Let any of the mods know if you've got a problem with someone.

PrettyChica24, welcome to Pixies. Hope you enjoy your time here. I think you'll find most folks here are fun loving, a bit outrageous, and very caring.

I just still wish I wouldn't have ever posted this thread. I had someone write me, want pics and mad that I wouldn't post them. It was more detailed than that...but I won't be in contact with this person anymore.

If someone troubles you it's best to speak with a mod.

Post whatever you feel comfortable with,

and if you don't wanna post pictures, then don't

nobody should be forcing anybody to do something that they don't want to do or don't feel comfortable doing yet

I don't understand why you feel this way. Is it because you're getting such a big response of basically the same answer?

To me that just shows the solidarity of this place. Everyone has come to support you in thier own way. Some serious, some silly, but all banding together to show thier concern for you. Don't be upset by this. Be happy you found such a place. :)

Also there may be someone else who's having the same thing happen but thier to afraid to ask like you have. So they put up with the harrasment or they end up leaving Pixies. (both sad) You don't know who you've helped by posting this. :D

Relax and enjoy the post as they come in. Knowing each one is made by a friend who cares about you.

Thank you so much. I just dont want to cause problems. I should have the balls to tell someone to piss off when I get upset but I am always afraid to hurt someones feelings.

The couple people I do normally talk to on pixies have been awesome...always making me feel beautiful.....and I care about them.

I have just learned from pixies that I am wayyyy too sensitive and I can't help but to take things to heart. Bad trait to have, that's for sure!!!

But it's been great fun here with you pixies!

I'd say that if you think you'd might like to try posting nude pics and it's just a lack of confidence that's holding you back, then you should bite the bullet, experiment with the camera and see if you find any pics you'd consider posting.

However, if you really don't want to post pics, then don't let anyone guilt you into doing it. There's a big difference between people you don't know trying to force you into something just for their own gratification, and loving encouragement from people who know you and who want to help you build your self esteem.

The one bit of advice I would give is that if you decide to post pics, (which can be great fun and very addictive) be prepared for a plethora of unsolicited and insensitive PMs from men who don't 'get' why you're posting and think you're 'advertising' yourself.

^^^ would need an entire customer service department to keep up with the orders if she ever advertised herself!

Would Fussy be in charge of distribution? :D

Oh and just so I don't hijack this thread and go off topic......imaginewithme I have two things to say to you:

1. Only post pics if YOU want to, if that's not good enough for some people then they're not good enough for you or anyone else for that matter :)

Yes, lack of confidence has a lot to do with it. Not comfortable with my body at all. I don't even like regular face shots of myself...let alone imagine seeing myself nude in a picture.

And I do constantly worry about pissin' people off, but not so much lately. I think being at pixies may be making me a little stronger....or maybe someone at pixies giving me a little more confidence then I had.
