In case you didn't see this...

You've got to check out this e-bay auction for a wedding dress.

That was shown on TV last night. The male owner was modeling it.
It is a sleeveless gown & he has tattoos all over his arms.I guess
that it takes all kinds! Irish

OMG THAT IS TOOOOO FUNNY!!!!!!!!

Steph 04-29-2004 11:13 AM

LOL I can't wait for the Web site!

PantyFanatic 04-29-2004 11:18 AM

That's nice, but Steph is looking for a deal on a good wash-n-wear wedding dress.

Gilly 04-29-2004 11:35 AM

Wow, that's hilarious!

Panty- For my wedding, I got a really pretty ivory sheath with an empire waist, and twin spaghetti straps at a shop that sold prom dresses, after prom, for $20. It came with a gold and ivory lace bolero jacket, as well. Totally washable. ;)

Wouldn't hemp be more appropriate? :D

skyler_m 04-29-2004 12:14 PM

My wife found that for me... I'm still curious why she was shopping for wedding dresses.... ???

Kissy 04-29-2004 12:19 PM

I'm just curious why it got bidded up so high when he stated clearly that he had paid only $1200 for it new?

Irish 04-29-2004 12:19 PM

The totally washable feature,is good if you ever want to get married again.Sometimes they get dirty at a reception. This way,
you can wash it & live on alimony & child support! Irish

Steph 04-30-2004 12:14 AM

LOL

When I got married I borrowed a friend's wicked white pantsuit & her grandmother's pearls (let me tell you I can't imagine what it must be like for a supahstah wearing $250,000 worth of jewels).

BUT HEMP!!!! I'd do it! I had a wicked cream hemp summer dress that could *almost* pass as a wedding dress .. . thanks for blast from the past WI!

(and shaddup PF!)

Irish 04-30-2004 08:13 AM

The nice thing about a hemp dress is that you can smoke it,after
you wear it! Irish

Lilith 04-30-2004 08:15 AM

Or use it to make rope for the honeymoon;)

Aqua 04-30-2004 01:09 PM

I heard this guy on the radio... and just now saw his auction... OMG, toooooo funny! LOL

GingerV 04-30-2004 05:57 PM

That has got to be the funniest damn thing I've seen in a while. Thanks for pointing me at it, I'd have missed it completely otherwise.

Hope he enjoys the ball game....and I hope ALL her friends told her about the auction pics ;).

If you come home from your travels and find that she has fled for a new life, and left you the babies....you'll have been warned.

Irish 04-30-2004 10:44 PM

GingerV---Perhaps that's ONE of the reasons, that she left him.
