I'm out of coffee....had to start the day with no coffee. :o

So what is it, that if you run out of it, surely signals the end of civilization?

Hmmm....out of milk signals disaster over here. I need it for my cereal...of course, if I am out of milk AND yogurt I am really screwed

naughtyangel 04-19-2004 07:58 PM

Lil, didn't you get the Tim Horton's I ExpressPosted to you this morning???

Wonder where that got to?

Maybe PF hijacked the delivery :p

Cheyanne 04-19-2004 08:29 PM

I think the pantymonster may have absconded with both of ours:p

And trust me I am not out now. I just bought about 50 bricks:p Not going to go through that hell again!

Cheyanne 04-19-2004 09:53 PM

LOL - 50 bricks! Nope doesn't sound like you will for a while!

I had 3 jars of my vanilla creamer and no coffee (other than decaf for the latenight drink) this morning. I say, decaf doesn't quite do it for me in the morning.. :(

NOTICE TO ALL PIXIE LADIES~

Stop keeping your coffee in your panty drawer.

Nice Guy 04-19-2004 11:12 PM

Pop or Soda or whatever other names people have for it. It is a must have for me. Not just the taste but the carbonation.

LixyChick 04-20-2004 04:50 AM

We don't go without beer round here! Even if we don't touch it for days...that keg better have at least a pitcher in it or it's panic mode for hubby!

We can't buy beer on Sunday (unless you get a 6-pack at the bar...and by law they can only sell you two), because all the beer stores and state stores are closed (no beer sales at convience marts up here) and ain't it always the way that when you run out (I mean the keg blows) it's always on a Sunday afternoon! The air seems to go then too! Murphy's Law I spose!

If we ever run out of coffee, I don't have a problem with that...but hubby sure does. I make sure we never run out!

Lilith 04-20-2004 06:06 AM

I'm having my usual morning coffee and once again the world returns to it's natural order. *sighs*

Oldfart 04-20-2004 06:50 AM

I always keep a couple of the the coffee sachets from hotel

visits.

It's crap, but it's caffein.

Lilith 04-20-2004 06:52 AM

Smart man!!!

Oldfart 04-20-2004 06:59 AM

Lil,

Can I interest you in a couple of sachets of coffee?

Lilith 04-20-2004 07:09 AM

You planning on hand delivering them? :hot:

nikki1979 04-20-2004 08:10 AM

lakritze 04-20-2004 12:37 PM

I keep at least three extra cans of whole coffee beans {french and espresso roast} in the garage freezer.Plus two in the kitchen ground and ready.Doesn't look like I'll run out of coffee to soon.I can't imagine looking around for coffee and only finding an envelope of Sanka left over from a motel visit 5 years ago.YUCK!!!!!

nikanik 04-20-2004 02:32 PM

Hershey Kisses no Kisses and my world goes into a deep dark tunnel with no way out but more kisses.

I get twitchy when I get down to only 15 pounds of coffee tucked under my coffee cart.

osuche 04-20-2004 05:14 PM

^^^ Y'all don't want to see PF when he's twitchy :p :p :p

Scarecrow 04-20-2004 05:40 PM

You can have your coffee, just leave my soda alone.

gekkogecko 04-20-2004 11:16 PM

Hey, remember when the whole Pixie's site almost went under? Now, *THAT* was almost the end of civilization as we know it.

PantyFanatic 04-20-2004 11:53 PM

Yeah I remember.

But I'm down to only drinking 3 pots a day.

Sharni 04-20-2004 11:55 PM

Coke.....touch my supply of coke and ya die!!

My kids learnt that real quick :D....Mum gets extremely testy if the coke fairies have visited

I get withdrawals if i dont have at least 1 litre/day

huntersgirl 04-21-2004 10:37 AM

I'm with you on running out of coffee, there is nothing worse in my book. It doesn't feel like a day until I've had a cup or 10. I keep an emergency can of cheap stuff, that I bought last time I ran out,in the freezer. It's not nearly as good as my usual, but in a pinch it works. I am definitely not a coffee snob, I will even drink the mud they serve at the gas station! :)
