Dammit..the link isn't working...would you believe I didn't even watch the halftime show? Not a fan of any of the performers, so I took a smoke break.

I gotta tell you Eros, the half-time show was pretty weak, even with the boob flash... "Oh Diddy, you're so fine, you're so fine you blow my mind, P.Diddy" :rolleyes: It was a lip-sync fiesta that would have pissed me off if I were at the Superbowl live and expecting top dollar entertainment.

I have to agree, the performance over all was very weak. The people they chose were horrible, especially looking back at last years, with Michelle Branch, Santana, Shania, etc. I expected good performers that appealed to a large group. I was very disappointed.

She must have a new CD coming out soon..

Well, MTV produced this year's half-time show... so everyone say "THANKS MTV!" :rolleyes: Where's the middle finger flippin' smiley? :mad:

I definatly have to agree 100% now. Thee's no way it would have ripped off completly that quickly had it actually been leather, as they state in their offical statement. On top of that... well, I just love how quickly she jumps up to cover it. :rolleyes:

I just want to add.....that I didn't particularly care for all the other performers and I agree that there was a "lip-sync fiesta"....But I watched and listened closely....and I do NOT think Kid Rock was giving up lip service! And if he was....his Bawitaba was perfect.....he didn't miss a beat!

I was watching the Super Bowl on TV and I missed it. Must have blinked.

Of course the fact that she had a pastie on the nipple would in no way mean that they planned it all ahead of time :D

The sad part was that it was the highlight of the half time show... the performances were very weak this year.

There is this morning, in the local paper, just such an article about the traffic generated by the stunt at two of the local call in radio shows.

Nah, that was one person's story. Even Janet Jackson admitted it was supposed to happen. ;)

No question - he was the WORST thing about the show. How is that man famous?

Because he made friends with some talented people and used them to get famous. Then, instead of writing any of his own music, he ruined a bunch of other's people songs.

Definitely a stunt. But I mean...it was only a boob.....what the hell is all the fuss about.....personally I think Madonna et al.'s lesbian kissing threesome was much more riskue.....I mean women wear less than JJ at the Oscars!!

The problem was that it was inappropriate for that audience. I have no problem with showing my boobs or anyone else doing it where appropriate (see the 33 threads below) but it was a sporting event not a strip bar.

I personaly liked the entire thing, up until that point. I just didn't understand the statement I guess. Why just one boob? I am a fan of all of the performers though. But I can also understand that they were all directed at a specific audience and typicaly in the past they have had a wider range and variety of performers.

And another thing... lol

Really though, besides the boob flash, how about the freak dancing Janet and Justin had going on. My daughter was visiting relatives during the game, but had she been watching it with me... well, let me put it this way, I am glad she wasn't watching. There's a time and place for that and the Superbowl is neither. As it is, she still came home from school Monday and told me that all the kids at her school were talking about the Superbowl; the half-time show specifically. Oh yeah, forgot to mention... she's in elementary school.

Could be worst. Could have been her Wacko brother with the tits. He is at his Dr so much they may do a tit job at no extra charge!
