~CyberLovers~ Player or Loyalist?
When it comes to online interaction, most of us have experienced some variation of cyber relationship at some point. The question posed is: Which kind of relationship do you prefer? And why? Cyber players~ where your free and open to flirt, frollick and share intimatly with anyone and everyone?? Cyber Loyalists~ where although you may be friendly and flirty with others, you save your intimacy for one another exclusively? Being that Pixies is such an open forum, thought it would be interesting to see the results and the explanations. Thanks |

Since I do not feel monogamy is a natural state of existance in Real life....that holds true for the digital world.
Connections are important however, and no one but a few people here ever really get to know me. And lets not forget, you have to get to know someone a little to find out if they are guy or girl for real. |

Life is all about free choice and as long as one person satisfies me I will stick with them by choice, but dont try and force me. If there is not one current person in my life then i become am a player... So I guess i become either... at any one time. I have grown and learnt so much about myself from online relationships and safely explored the depths and heights of my passions like never before. |

There is a definate difference for me between flirting and sharing intimatly. Flirting in chat and on the boards with flirtable individuals is alot of fun. Being able to get a smile out of someone, maybe help brighten their day with playfull banter. All awesome qualities of cyberspace. I know I appreciate the effort that friends put into helping me enjoy my time online. Especially when reality is rearing its ugly head. But I feel for me in order to devote the time and submit to some vulnerability with an intimate connection, I need a degree of understood loyalty. As I recently shared with someone. When pouring your heart and passions out to someone privately, how special is it if they are busy flirtin up someone else privately at the same time, or quickly run off to have the same conversation with someone else. Just my opinion. And I have been enlightened with those of you who have shared also. |
Goddess_X I could not agree more!!!! I have little interest/inclination to share myself with someone who wants nothing more than to fuck their way through cyberspace.

I am a loyalist. Of course I enjoy flirting, joking, talking just to anyone who is nice and friendly. But I always keep the intimacy to only that special someone.
I agree that it requires a certain connection for someone to really open yourself, to let you be vulnerable to someone else. |

I would say I'm a loyalist. I don't flirt too well. Introvert. Enjoy the chats, but tend to be quiet there too. I sometimes post on topics, but mostly play the smut games. Even there I tend to not to be overtly sexual.
