Ladies...

I love buying my wife sexy underwear, but I also like to make sure they're comfortable. Otherwise, they just sit nicely folded in the bureau and never get worn.

Do any of you actually like thongs, or are they just for show? I love seeing women in thongs, but are they actually something that will be worn?

Any tips on my first purchase?

I personally HATE thongs. I have worn them but not with comfort being my goal. I am sure though that lots of ladies love them.

See- thru or crotchless would be sexy and comfortable to me

The thing is that whatever kind of underwear you wear it always ends up riding up your butt so you may as well put it there to begin with and only have one small piece of fabric wedged up there than a piece big enough to cover your whole arse!!!!

And they do feel weird at first but after a week of wearing thongs you don't even know you're wearing one anymore!

Personally, I hate to see a ladies butt cut in quarters by panty elastic. Go sit with a coffee in the Mall and just see how many otherwise elegant ladies are showing off the grossest large panties; Just be cause they can't see them themselves. Confucius said 'Only show off your underwear if it's worth looking at' - and most of these aren't.

Thongs let your butt be itself, and I like that. But there is a solution for those who are not prepared to suffer to be beautiful - go without. That definitely gets my vote!

How about those lacy briefs. You know the ones that resemble boxers. They are very comfy and generally have no elastic around the thighs. But usually look best on a petite woman. Where as a thong can look sexy on a lot of body types. Did you ask your wife? Maybe she has a preference. As a gift it is definitely best to go with what you know she will love to wear.

i love thongs. i wear them all the time. but they are pretty uncomfortable until you get used to them. i have a few bikini cut underpants that my bf just loves. they are cut alot smaller than normal panties and the butt is a little bigger than a thong. they are wicked comfy and sexy to boot!

My wife wasn't much of a fan of thongs, until she bought a pair. She agrees that they feel odd for the first few weeks, but now she is used to them. That is almost all she has worn for the past two years. Now if I could only get her to go without all together.

The only time she wears granny panties is during her period.

I don't mind thongs at all, but I've found that buying them 1 size larger than my normal underwear makes certain they will be nice and comfy. If they are too tight, they tend to pull, and that hurts.

I hate thongs. I even tried again to wear one last week so no pantyline would show in my skirt. I rubbed and chafed all day. I like bikinis or no panties at all. I would scope out her top drawer and see which ones you rcognize her wearing. That should tell you her preference. Luckily you can buy sexy panties in any cut these days, and any material.
