Gawd, this could go on all nite, digging thru the expired brain cells...
1st ever was JoJo Gunne/Lee Michaels (all you kids say who?) Jethro Tull (at least 5 times) ZZ Top, Uriah Heep (gp was bombed outa his skull), Edgar Winter (w/Rick Derringer), Alice Cooper, Three Dog Night, Black Oak Arkansas...later saw Police, The Hooters/Squeeze...last few years, mostly reunions like Styx, Kansas (2 times) & Yes (my son insisted we leave after they played 3 songs, all over 10 min. apiece...but he loved Kansas) & Michael Bolton (for the wife)...opening act for MB was a then unknown family band the Corrs... One I missed out on was Black Sabbath...they said Ozzy Osbourne had laryngitis(yeh, right...) so they couldn't play, so Black Oak did a double set...years later Ozzy was supposed to play here again, don't remember if this was still with Sabbath or not, but anyway...he went to the wrong hotel room & passed out, concert was cancelled, they didn't find the Oz till the next day...still think about that when I watch the tv show now... |

Oh My I forgot about them.... Think I'll go but some on.. |
Saturday night I went to see Cauterize, Revis, Cold & Evanescence. I initially went to this concert to see Revis and Cold, and they both put on a great show....but....I was then surprised. I have had the Evanescence CD since it came out but had quickly grown tired of the "pop" sound and the crowd at the concert did not surprised me was mostly 16-18 year old girls...But they mostly got disapointed where as I was impressed...Evanescence rocked harder than Cold, the addition of the 3 band members which do not perform on the CD was awesome.
