Lord Snow and I only got to spend one evening with pixies and pixie spouses but we were still talking about what a wonderful time we had after we woke up then after we got up and after we got out of bed and got in the shower....... giggle yeah you know if I spent more time in my pants and outta L.S.s' we might have spent more time socializing and less time on the waterbed.

In all honesty this is the most fun and the most comfortable I've ever been among a group of individuals I'd never met. I'm not the most confident or secure person in the world and strange men scare the hell out of me.... and we all know PF is high on the strange meter :loveyou: and yet I got hugs etc from all these wonderful people and my proximity alarm never tripped! :boobs: I love best western bathrooms :boobs:

I honestly suggest that anyone that can make a gathering do so. you can't regret it. We are a family. There was laughing, crying, arguments about sharks.... I'm sure they felt like they were babysitting when LS and I showed up but we tried not to drag down the party! AND everyone that got there while I was there got to see my ink WOOT!


I guess all I'm saying is if you can, do. I've made lots of bad decisions I've regretted for the rest of my life. this is not one of them. I love pixies and I've missed you all while I was under the thumb of the queen bitch. Oh and watch out Mr Lil..... if I'd stayed longer I'd have shown her more than I did >wink wink nudge< >hides from Lord Snow..... PF you know a good place for me to hide??<

Managed to sneak in a visit to the Best Western this a.m...& so glad I did. I expect there will be a thread started later after the attendees get home & unpacked (& un-jetlagged), with LOTS of pics, & I'll share my thoughts about it all at that time, after I've had a chance to sort them properly. Let's just say right now, I'm looking for something electrical to test out, & wishing I could eat M&Ms like I used to ;)

well I was head server at the snooty cafe/deli unfortunately the only yankee I wanna play with is reformed been in the south over 7 years so he's almost not a yankee. and I've never been on a plane the idea kinda scares me.

HEY!!!!! Moving down here was not my choice. I'm a yankee in dixie and stranded to boot. While I don't regret some things, I miss actual snow. I'll reform when I get 6 feet of that beautiful white powder on the yard for Christmas. As for beer bitch, I don't like beer. I prefer shots. Scotz, if you don't mind coming down to Murfreesboro, I'd much rather meet up down here. Less streets to get lost on. (Yeah I got lost going home from Pagan)

I'll be sure to send you all the snow you can handle next season..... I had over 100 inches of it this winter....... should keep the beer and shots nicely chilled!

No one's good at navigating Nashville...not even my GPS, nor even me, w/over 5 decades living here, when they keep changing the *&%$# street names...

my last really bad panic attack was when my boss asked me to take her oldest son to nashville for a chorus performance they walked and I drove but I found the library but no kids I was so upset! I freaked so I parked at the library and broke down and found they were at some tourist attraction with a buncha flags lol

I've met/spoke to so many lovies here. I will cherish the moments each one of you spent in my arms.

I was about to post something warm & fuzzy here this morning when somebody (think west) sent me a pm...I had to read it right away, of course, & since I haven't set my browser up to allow pop-ups from pixies, I just said ok to open it up in the same window. WRONG! Suddenly I've lost the post I was previewing, & it was a bit of a struggle for me the type up in the first place...chances that I can remember how I phrased everything are <slim to none...but trust me, it was beautiful, maybe it'll come back later.

Got home just a little bit ago. Went to Indianapolis on Friday after we left Nashville and stayed until this morning. Left there about 9:30AM but stopped at the Wally World; picked up some White Castle Hamburgers; filled the car with gas and took off. When we reached Champaign, IL, we turned south on I-72 for a side trip to Allerton Park. Walked around there for a couple hours or more before leaving for home. No big hurry to get things back to normal.

It's been so neat to have met so many Pixies. I think our count is up to 14 + 2 spouses that aren't members. This get together included Lilith and her hubby; Scarecrow & his Mrs.; PF; OF and his Mrs.; Lord Snow and BamaKytn; Scotzoid. It's no exaggeration to say, the quality of Pixies is fantastic. Great people that we love to pieces.

Wish others that had wanted to be there could have been. We packed a lot into a few days. Touristy things ... plus lots of time to visit ... and eat ... and visit ... and eat. :D

My wife and I were selected at Alternate Guardian of the Colors. The actual winner of the honor was OF but because of the distance and the chance we might have an 09 get together ... we were selected as alternates. Very impressive looking with all the flags on it.

Scarecrow. Hats off to you and the Mrs. ... you really did a fantastic job and gave us a get together we'll never forget. :thumbs:

Does it make sense to say that while we're glad to be home :) ; we hate to see PAGAN 08 end :( .

Now we're looking forward to something in 09.

I can't even express how sad I am that I missed all of this. :( I could sit here and cry. It would have been perfect for me. :(
