Whose bell are you trying to ring?
What if you don't have a bell?
Could you call the Bell Boy?
Wasn't that a Jerry Lewis movie?
Was it?
You could use a dinner bell.
How about if I ring your chimes?
Wasn't it Anita Ward who wanted someone to ring her bell?
If I were an animal, I'd probably be a dingbat. Does that count?
I hear ringing....could it be the phone? or have I had too much wine? lol.....no, I think I banged my head on the wall, that happens occationally. Its my age you know.
What is this thread? I think I lost the plot |
Is there a plot to this?

I'm ignoring it. |
Is it hard to keep me out of your mind? ;)
It's hard when keeping you in my mind. :hot:
Is there something I can help you with?
If I just ignore it, it might go away. ha ha
Should I ignore it, too?
What?
Oh, hi there. I wasn't ignoring *you,* was I?
Me?
I would hope not. How is your day, Denny?
Isn't it nice to take a break?
Yes, very much. Unfortunately, I still have stuff to do before I leave here in a couple of hours!
At work?
Nope--at home today. House is quiet, except for the music I'm jamming to. You ?
At work, gotta take off in a minute, where ya' headed?
Northeast. :D Where's your camping this weekend?
Near Julian, ever been there?
Mt. Palomar actually. |
Yes, actually was at Julian Memorial Day weekend 1997, almost 8 months pregnant.
Only missed each other by 4 years!
LOL
You're practically campsite buddies! |
Yes, but I moved out of California about two years before he moved there. :D
So it really depends on how broadly you define "campsite?" :D
or how you define "buddies" :D
Well, it would depend on if we're using a Pixies definition of "buddies," wouldn't it? :D
De Camptown ladies sing this song,
Doo-da, Doo-da De Camptown racetrack's two miles long Oh, de doo-da day. Chorus: G'wine to run all night G'wine to run all day I bet my money on a bob-tailed nag Somebody bet on the gray. 2. Oh, de long tailed filly and de big black horse, Doo-da, Doo-da Come to a mud hole and dey all cut across, Oh, de doo-da day. Chorus: 3. I went down South with my hat caved in, Doo-da, Doo-da I came back North with a pocket full of tin. Oh, de doo-da day. Chorus: |
Did you know that today ... 10/1 ... is the first day of school for all the Iraqi kids?
No, I didn't, DB. Thanks!
How in the heck did you discover that, DB?
It was on the news. For a change they said something other than counting the number killed. I like hearing some of the positive things going on that are seldom reported. They made the point that 1,000 schools have been refurbished and cleaned up and reopened. The schools had been allowed to be run down under Saddam and many rooms used to store weapons and ammo. I like the new use better.
