it's both costly and addictive:p

Very nice! I especially like the red and tiger's eye. :)

I'll be anxious to be able to read for pleasure again, once school is done and I no longer have to look at a frigging textbook...
Since I got a nice camera for my birthday last year, I would like to try experimenting with some outdoor photography. I also enjoy writing poetry and would like to now revise a novella that I wrote in high school. College has taken up so much of my time that now I'll hopefully have time to start up some hobbies! |
I am an avid reader and music afficianado. However, work and family conspire to deprive me of the time for both. But I enjoy my children and their activities, so it's fair to say they are my main hobby currently.

I fuss around with the ol' 66 Cuda. I don't have any exterior shots handy, but you can look at the engine.. and yes, it does need a lot of work still. :p

My hobby is photography

...and abstract photography

I do all sorts of things (like making soap and other cosmetics from scratch, any kind of cooking, dancing etc) but the hobby that is really in my blood is acting.
Will be on stage all next week performing a 40 minute monologue.....just me......the stage and the audience......perrrrrrrrrfect. :D |

This is how I spent my New Year's Eve. An online group I belong to did this project together beginning at 9 a.m. on NYE. We had no idea what it would look like ahead of time. We got partial instructions in advance and then every hour one more bit of instruction was posted until we got the final "clue" and put it all together. |
Very neat Sugar. :)
Now you have 11 months to work out how we can do something like that next year with a Pixie theme.;) |
I really enjoy doing wood working and wood carving. My carvings are mostly for Christmas, and I focus on Santas. Here are some of mine that I've done!

Sounds like fun SS.
Skyler~ they are lovely! What do you paint them with? |
Lilith, thanks. :D I just use a latex crafter's paint. nothing fancy. I usually dilute them about 50% with water so that you can tell it's real wood underneath. Occassionally, I'll coat them with a VERY diluted burnt umber paint to give them an aged look.

Have you tried crackle medium? I have done a lot with it and love someof the results.
