Is that Fed Ex Overnight? We better not stop to visit next week or I might take one home. |

Say, that sounds like a chance to get together at Schooner's or someplace. (IowaMan, you could bring one of the kittens over for Soda and join us ;) ) |
OMG, I wonder if one of the tenderloins at Schooner's would last more than two minutes with those kittens. :yikes:
|
* Sniff *
I don't think they're going to stop. * Sniff * We may just have to plan a Schooner's run sometime. :boink: |
No time to stop sorry DB.
Has anyone heard from IowaMan? |
Monday he was OK...I think he was going to take the oldest set into the shelter today :(
|
Thanks osuche!

Just have a safe trip, Soda. It's only 47-days until Nashville.
Poor kittens. Too bad that at least a few weren't selected by friends and neighbors. They're such precious little animals. |

Well, I took the majority of the kittens to the shelter the other day. :(
I'm sure they'll end up with great homes, I just hope they aren't too upset that they'll be living a little bit less of a luxurious life for a little bit. Pretty sure they only get dry cat food there, I'm positive they won't be pleased with that. Anyway, I did keep one kitten from each litter. From the first litter I kept the little all gray one, Lil says she's a Russian Blue. Her name is Dominique. From the second litter I kept a little furball I like to call a Tuxico since she's sort of a calico version of a tuxedo cat. Her name is Socks. So now the cathouse is down to five kitties. :yikes: |
I think you made a wise choice, IowaMan. Those two kittens are absolutely precious!
I've no doubt the shelter will find good homes for the other! BTW, it's sure good to have you back with us! :line: |
They be cuties!!!

Dominique is convinced that the white feet on the side of the box is a clydesdale but really it's only Socks playing around.

This is our most recent visitor to the cathouse. I've always been a fan of Agatha Christie and I named him after one of her characters. His name is Hercule. I thought he looked French so I named him Hercule. (Yes, I know Hercule Poirot was Belgian.) Plus, he meows back to me when I call him mon ami. :p
Anyway, Hercule is a very, very nice kitty but he's not in the best of health. He's very underweight and had some sort of lump on his back that burst about a week ago. So.......... I clean his wound everyday and do my best to dress it for him. He doesn't mind at all, just stands there purring. And yep, Hercule likes to give me a hand when I'm trying to do work in the flower bed. He likes to play with the weeds after I pull them out. |

Here are a couple of recent ones of the kitties. I swear in the first one that Lou is saying to me, "Nobody expects the Spanish Inquisition!" Ok, perhaps I've watched too much Monty Python over the years.
Pic #2 is Dominique giving me what seems to be a dirty look but she was actually pretty happy at the time of the pic. Not liking the flash so much though. Then there's Dom and her bestest buddy Socks cuddling together. #4 is Gabby, Dominique's mom. Finally got one where she didn't squint because of the flash. Can't say the same about Fluffy (Socks' mom) in the last pic. |
Pretty kitties!
