During the snowstorm a week ago. Our son (21) had a date with his girlfriend and they drove into Peoria for a movie and dinner. They had late reservations at the restaurant and didn't want to cancel.

The roads were very slick and we waited anxiously expecting to hear the phone ring. (Parents always worry.)

Thank heavens, none came and he and his girlfriend made it safely home, although it was very late (early A.M.) For a change, it was nice not getting the expected call.

a few years ago when my car got stuck in a ditch in the middle of nowhere on the Isle of Skye-----was rescued by 2 men who lifted the car out of the hole for me!------------been really wary about single track roads from then on!

At the carnival at New Year..... with you & the cherubs!!! (I stole some of the weans' .... she didn't mind THAT much!!!

I am now! Next weekend will never happen soon enough! :D
