I think I tried to warn somebody that A/C is mandatory here, but nooooooo....

The threat of isolated storms is real enough, but I really don't expect it'll rain on everybody's parade...here in the south, we have little "popcorn" showers that break out sporadically, but rarely rain hard enough or long enough to cancel any important plans...today was a good example, I covered a lot of territory but never got more than a few sprinkles on my windshield, but as I was headed home, I saw evidence of a brief hard shower a few miles from home, but on my street was hardly any rain at all...

No joke, & that's in Farinheight degrees, cowboy...

Consider yourself lucky, last year triple digits were common with no cool down at night...and there wasn't a single fucking drop of rain from spring until late winter. :banghead:

Amen Scotz! an I had to buy hay for two horses to suit through the winter and some of that summer! Don't worry PF love, as I recall that hotel has good AC, maybe you'll find someone to help you flavor that ball soup you'll be sitting in. remember the real problem down here isn't the heat. anyone see the humidity prediction ( besides the rain) that means sweat no evaporate...... and the air is a bit heavy. it's better at night though. I'm sure all my lovely pixies will be okay. ya'll can take PF to a pool hall to learn to play during the days. ac and beer. you'll be fine.




anyone else getting stoked for this??? I'm so excited even though I can only make the first and last day and will have to leave mid afternoon the first day ( I have work and my shift starts at 5:30 am with an hour commute..... me gotsa go bed early!)

Hi, everyone. Nashville is great. Scotz wasn't wrong about the heat and humidity, but, it's really not all that bad. Great to see the folks that are here and wish you could all be here too.

Using the hotel computer, so can't stay long ... but at least they're not filtering out access to Pixies. :) Glad for that.

Besides popcorn, I bet the DB's brought mints too. :(

We seem to have found some mints here. Still checking for fingerprints.

You won't find mine. I ate them off.

Knock on wood ... no rain so far and while warm and humid ... hasn't stopped us from doing anything. Nashville is great. :thumbs:
