Will they still take you as a casual?

I will finish the first year teaching program this May actually. I am doing all the requirements as a whole year teacher despite only working in this position since February. They will sign me as soon as they can. I am hearing they are very eager to keep me employed. It was just the perfect topping to a rough week.
