Drop big messy things from tall enough heights that the shit basically splatters all over the place.

Although I know otherwise and fully realize how unwise it is to expect even a small portion of the joy that once was, still the stupidest thing I do on a regular basis is get the hell up every morning and walk into another dismal day.
Ya, I'm very depressed now guys. At the risk if being branded resident Pixies nut case (although that label has no doubt already been applied), I shouldn't but will share that things in my life have gone downhill since my stupid *said with a snide and mocking tone* "Thank You I'll Stay" post. Have any of you ever found youself regretting a life path you ought to have taken thirty years ago? I hope to shit you never do. It sucks. A direction I ought to have taken thirty years ago, that is, being gay and living with a transexual, has climbed up out it's burial I gave it in the darkest hole I could find within my pathetic self thirty years ago. Some monsters never die; they just get very angry at having been buried alive. Why am I saying this here? Don't I have friends to talk to? My one friend is someone I met here a month or two ago. No, I have isolated myself away in the woods and in a normal life hoping my deamons couldn't find me. You all have been so kind and helpful in the past. Please, if it is not asking too much--although I think it is--could someone please write something to me? I am so confused, and daily asking myself if this is the nervous breakdown I always suspected was less than a week away. Much to my dismay, it seems that being nearly 53 has nothing to do with thinking clearly, or with just wanting to be a little boy crying in the corner. I hate myself for being this way, but it is what is. Am I glad I hung around Pixies? Yes. Thank you in advance. Thank you, thank you, thank you. SHUT UP LARRY! |
Larry, you know you shouldn't shut up. We're a supportive bunch & perhaps you should post a thread asking for advice? (Just a thought)
|
I agree with Steph......right now do you have any idea how much some of us need to feel supportive of someone?
stupid things I do??? pffffft too many to count |

I hereby open the Let's All Support Larry club. You can kick youself in the but later for having supported a fool that just crashed and burned his whole damn life away. I'm sorry. That was bad to say. You are so sweet. I believe I know I need to leave my marriage and live the life I should have been living all along, but I don't think I am able to do that. Options: 1) drug myself until I die, 2) kill myself now. You and Stef are right. I will post a request for advice. I'm not sure I understand what you mean by "...do you have any idea how much some of us need to feel supportive of someone?" Do you mean that some of us (you) need to feel supportive of someone else or need to feel support from someone else? I love you sooooo much, and I am so happy that you care about me. |
check your PMs please

She means she's uber helpful, Larry :D
Your life hasn't been burned away. It might be now that you're brave enough to face the truth. |

I keep letting him come back for another chance...and just end up getting my heart broken. :(

(((((((LarryL))))))) I think that living to a certain age seems to bring with it regrets from choices made years before ..... some big and some seemingly irrelevant to anyone but ourself. Sounds like a pretty big regret you have to deal with .... but there must also be many things that you have done in the last 30 years that have brought you to be the outstanding, caring, giving, empathetic man that you are and may not have become without the situation. The past will always have regrets and missed opportunities attached to it, but there is aways today and tomorrow and all the tomorrows to come where you can start the process of moving to a different place in your life, either to approach the existing situation differently or come to a decision to change the path that you have been on ... either way, it seems obvious to me that you will not do so on a whim, but rather with well reasoned thoughtfulness and do the best you can to keep the damage minimal in your life and the lives of those who are close. Feel free to PM me if you need to unload. :)

I wait until the warning light goes on before I get gas for the car.
Ok, so it's not earth shattering, but if I start down the road of important things I have done that are stupid...well, it's a long road and I didn't get enough rest last night to start walking down it. |

The stupid things I do is let someone I care about say something like that and not yell at them for thinking that way!!!!! Every day you open your eyes is a gift...sometimes it is hard to realize this and at times we are hurt and confused...but YOU are around for a reason! It's either to bring someone joy (which you have to me) or to be someones love. You have family that loves you! I hope you soon can be happy again. If I never ask for anything else....that would be it! |

I've been known to drive in neutral for a while until I can get to a gas station. :D My excuse is that there aren't any gas stations close by since more than 80% of the 'hood is carless. |
Hurt myself, I have been super accident prone recently. Very unlike me normally, but I look like I have been beaten with all the cuts and bruises on me right now!

put beer in the freezer and forget about it
 |
Talk when I should be listening....

Jinx the day when I post "It's a quiet day" and then boom, it gets noisy. :)

I've done that too many times to count! |
I've kept vodka in the freezer, then forgotten about it only to rediscover it when I attempt to put another bottle in!

oooooo I have rum in there right now...TY for reminding me. |
Putting liquor in the freezer and forgetting about it. Is there a pattern here? LMAO
|
Vodka and the like isn't so bad. I know quite a few people who keep vodka or rum in the freezer full time. Beer freezes and sometimes it's just a slushy foam for a long time.

That's what microwaves are for, right? :D |

I've never had a microwave! I've lived with people who have had them & I use one at work but have never paid for one for myself. |

Then how do you cook dinner??? :p This week a microwave is all I've got. LOL. |
My cats food and water bowls are located in the storage room under the stairs.EVERYDAY! without fail I stand up after giving him food and slam my head on the slanted ceiling. It's been almost 2 years and I still do it atleast 3 times a week.

Stirfrys, salads, beans . . . things that don't need a nuker. I can cook with a nuker when the time is right, though! |

Most people eat food though. That stuff is food's food. |
