LOL im reading

Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince.

I went through the first three in just under a week and had to slow down for the last 3 as they are thicker and need more attention lol. Ive only just joined the band wagon with these but they are good books.

Also read Catch me if you can.. Great book full of some interesting con's and moments when you say " I cant believe he got away with that"

I'm not reading anything right now :(

If I started reading again I would never get ANYTHING done around here.

Have I ever told you that Pat Conroy is my favorite author *ever*? <sigh> Might have to back and re-read that one.

So much Irving going on here! My favorite author at work. A Widow For One Year, btw, is my favorite.

Anywho, I'm working my way through The Water-Method Man by John Irving.

Right now I'm reading Prey by Michael Crichton. Have also started Narnia and Regime, which is a prelude to the Left Behind series. I am waiting for the next Harry Potter and Anne McCaffrey Pern series book.

Finished the lateist Harry Potter book then started on a Readers Digest book called Through Indian Eyes , a history of American Indians

Just finished Sharon Osbourne's autobiography, 'Extreme'. It was amazing.....I realised how little I knew about her life as I read it....I now have even more respect for her than I had before. Fascinating.

I cheat...i listen to audio books when i drive and doing housework. i rarely have time to sit and read, unless it is homework related, which is on the internet, so, i listen to audio books.

I am listening to "The DaVinci Code" by Dan Brown and read by Paul Michael. i am half way through it and it is getting so that i am finding excuses to have it turned on so i can finish it!

one bummer of audio books is that they are often abridged. But the Harry Potters that i listened to weren't and they were anywhere from 19 to 27 hours of listening WOW but the guy that reads for them is BRILLIANT!

Neige 01-27-2006 01:53 PM

I am reading the Da Vinci Code now :)

Lilith 01-27-2006 04:17 PM

I really enjoyed it.

I download audio books from my library!

Neige 01-28-2006 05:31 PM

I've never listened to an audio book before...

Finished Da Vinci Code last night (and loved it!!! - I adore treasure hunts :D) and am now reading Chocolat by Joanne Harris.

Scarecrow, I have some sad news for you.

McCaffery has done a family franchise thing with Pern, and the latest dragon

book was written by her son. I saw it in hard cover at the bookshop yesterday.

I'm just starting a book called "The Gestapo Hunters", about the WW2 Mosquito squadron

which took out the walls at Amiens.

It's full of technical and historical stuff.
