Thanx for all the advice guys. I'm feeling loads better and I can definately see light at the end of the tunnel.

Just to change the subject a bit, does anyone know which batteries are the best for use in a digital camera? The ones that were in it didn't last very long
(when I get some I might finally post some pics, if I can find someone to hold the camera for me! ;) )

Bunny Girl---I don't know if you have them there;but in the mall here;they have a store called "The Dollar Store."Packs of batteries
are a dollar.I don't know how long that they last.A few years ago;
I worked a temporary job;where you could have a radio but there
was no electrical power.I bought them for my large radio.It was
electrical or battery powered.(Sony)They seemed fine but it was only;a few nights;job so that I can't testify to there longetivity.

I'm led to believe that Lithium batteries are better for digital cameras, as they're supposed to last longer.....i put alkaline ones in mine and they did not last very long at all.....but mostly i use the rechargeable ones that came with it

Nice to hear you are feeling better Bunny girl :) drop a line if you need some cheering up, thats what are friends for.

Use rechargeable batteries, much cheaper in the long run.

Lithium batteries came with my new cam, and they do last... but cost is a bitch! I found the new rechargables, Nickel Metal Hydride, will last a good while, cost for the charger & batteries is a little high to start, but they can be recharged 1000's of times, so it balances out in the long run

Agree with Scotz

Rechargables (NiMH) are the way to go and they last longer too. The alkaline ones will work for emergencies or when you forgot to recharge, but they won't last too long. The best are Lithium ones, but sooo expensive.
