Errrr sorta....There are beaters *L*.....and mixers......well in my world there is

I call hand held mixers beaters....I call mixers mixers....i'd love a mix master....i dont have one unfortunately....just me and me beaters

For anyone adding chocolate chips/chunks (white or otherwise) if you toss them in a little bit of flour before you add them to the mix, it will keep them from all sinking to the bottom -- that is true of any baked item that you add them to. :)

Anelectric beater and a mixer are not quite the same thing PF. Am electic beater is hand held where as a mixer sits on a stand.

WI you maybe barking up the wrong tree here PF and cooking don't mix.
