Gas on
Monday $2.58 Tuesday $2.79 Wednesday morning $2.99 Wednesday afternoon $3.19 40 cents in just one day. And they say we could hit $4.00 gal |
This morning at 7 a.m. regular was $2.58, by 9 a.m. it was $2.61, by 11 a.m. it was $2.81 and at 6 p.m. it was $3.29
This is such total bullshit! |
I better get a bike with a basket on it :p

I wonder why more states don't have the "once per day rule" - Wisconsin has that... stations can only raise their prices one time a day ... and I just noticed when I was out this evening we are up to $2.99. GWB announced today that they will start tapping into US special reserves - hopefully it will bring us some relief. Unfortunately this is the price we pay when we lose 25% production I guess.
What I'm befuddled about is that I know that each and everyone of those oil rigs are insured. And the coverage includes "business interruption" which means that the oil companies that own the rigs will recover from an insurance company or 934787874695 the amount that the insurance company deems the rig's damage to be worth as well as an amount for each day that the rig is out of production. I recognize that the problem is supply and demand, but most certainly the oil companies right down to the pumps are taking advantage of our reliance upon a commodity. |

I'm not near there either... ;) I was told once that it's the New England/East Coast attitude that they don't have to pronounce things appropriately ... they are just that special hehehe The sad part is people tend to look at me crazy when I saw Nawlins. |
Mr. Lil just got in from a meeting and the same station is now at $3.19. Unfuckingbelievable.
|
From the time I left this morning for work until after dinner tonight (twelve hours later), we went up $0.42/gallon. As Lil said, unfuckingbelieveable.
|
Ouch, ouch, ouch.
It's a good thing I never want to drive anywhere again. Ever.... |
My wife said we hit $3.19 here yesterday afternoon. I know we're slowing down on extra trips ... how about all of you?
|
If you want to see high pump prices take a trip to the UK.
|
I'll be right there;)
