I'm glad that she got to your place okay, Steph, and now hope her last leg of the journey goes as well. As I said, I think the midwest lost a very special person :( and congratulate the NE on your fantastic "catch!" :)

Ah, DB. Don't think we didn't talk about you & your wonderful, glorious wife. I think you guys made it difficult for her to move.

I speak for her knowing she was freaking exhausted but will be in NH to sign her lease soon.

You can’t see the afterburners on her van in that pic, but I know they’re there. She left Cleveland at 09:00, spent 5 hours in Toronto (doing penitence :rolleyes2 ) and racked up 630 miles before calling it a day.:teleport:

She is now at her new digs,:D after having lunch with somebody special :lust: and planning how to get everything in.:wobble: With a big enough crew, she may have the minivan unloaded before the truck gets there. Whoever said “you can’t take it with you”, never watched her move.;)

She expects to be among the posting Pixies sometime tomorrow. :jump:

I *am* here...BUT my internet's not working yet. Grrrrrrrrrr. Cable people should be back out Friday afternoon to fix it. Just popping on here briefly to let you all know that I *haven't* forgotten you, miss you all terribly, and can't wait to get back here on a "normal" basis.

I do have pictures to share, btw. :)

My things should arrive (hopefully) tomorrow--at least, that's the last I've heard. Anyone who wants to help unload is welcome. :) I *still* am going full-steam, trying to get settled in, find out where everything is, adapt to New England ways...big changes. Still, everyone I've met so far has been super. Maybe it's my innate southern charm winning them over. ;)

Okay, it was pointed out to me that I haven't answered some questions. :D

1. I have seen my honey--three times, in fact. :) Things are...good. Very good. And that, of course, is why I'm having those "thoughts of a most sexual nature" I posted about a little earlier. :hot:

2. The trip was lonnnnnnnnng, but I wouldn't have traded it for the world. Once I get up and operating at home, I'll share a few pictures from along the way and more details.

3. I start my new job on Monday. I can't get nervous about it yet because I've got too much to do in the meantime! :)

Wellllllll...it's not my house, but I think it can be home for awhile. Hopefully, once my things arrive (as well as my children), everything will start to fall into place. :)
