Welcome to the troublemaker club. But you will have to wait your turn to become the Grand PooBar Stirrer. |
I know where Grumble's coming from, but (surprise) have a slightly different take.
Like the Monty Python song, every Post is sacred, a communication within a committed forum. There is no "currency" of posts, no "exchange rate" between games posts and other forums. Every post is one of our fellow Pixies putting out a thought or opinion for all to see and respond to. There is no pecking order based on posting numbers except in the heads of those who perceive that there is. Once, when all posts were "mainstream", posting stats were an indication of participation, but now, it's an indication of postings. Some of our longer term pixies may remember some people who started a 'yes/no hi/lo' style thread and posted (swamped) a large number of posts in a very short time. Ian, our status lies in the hearts of our friends here, and that's really all that counts. |
Grumble, my friend...this thread has me roflmao. You made me consider developing a post rating scale...a really great post in a forum would be valued at a 10 on down to a so-so one with a value of 1.
And you know what? Every now and then I turn out a freaking 10 in a smut games post...the others playing in Smut Games unfortunately know I have a bunch of 1's for every 10. :jester: |

Hope nobody took offense. I certainly didn't and I know I post a lot in the Smut Games. But, I also try to make the rounds of the other forums. As someone else said, I've probably gotten closest to several fellow "gamers." Between the jokes, there's a lot of learning about each other that goes on ... which I think is kind of neat. Some of the "games," in fact, aren't so much games as opportunities to learn about each other. |
